Guilt

Jabin
A car stops on the freeway.
A gloomy sky weeps
over this one, rotten day.
The man inside sleeps.

He dreams of honey scented
lotion on soft skin,
tobacco, rich and minted,
and a youthful spin.

Traffic, a blur around him,
unending burden,
a collision, then a hymn-
Radio sermon.

And the last thought that lingers
is, “please forgive me”.
There is blood on those fingers.
And more on his knee.

Exhaust plumes, shattering smog.
Our man pays a price.
No soul hoisted from the fog-
pointless sacrifice.

Crowds come to witness the wreck,
and to kiss their luck.
Like pigeons, they hop and peck-
squawking, heartless ruck.

Dollar Store goods strewn about,
diapers included,
the road runs red from a spout,
highway occluded.

Behind the line they’re whining,
“Will I be on time?”
Dead ahead, simply pining
for his wasted prime.

He’s killed his child, who’s survived
to view his remains,
mangled, hopeless, and deprived,
his blood in her veins.
A thousand years from now,
there would be no more me.
The streets will be brand new
And civilization will have taken a different dimension.

A thousand years from now,
technology would replace human digestion process.
A thousand years from now,
men of amazing genius will walk on the sky.

A thousand years from now,
Science will repaint the sky.
A thousand years from now,
The world would rewire it's solar system.

A thousand years from now,
would I still be remembered?
A thousand years from now,
Will the grave have curtailed me?

A thousand years from now,
I would still be with you.
A thousand years from now,
My pen will still wipe your tears.
Dedicated to all who come behind me.

I apply I apply, Yet, No reply No reply,
I apply I apply, Yet, No Interview No Interview,
I believe, I believe, I will get hired,
I believe, I believe, I will shine,
No matter how many times you reject, I apply I apply,

I linkedin, I linkedin many recruiters,
I throw many applications in Dice,
People say a friend in need is Friend Indeed,
A friend indeed found a job in past,

I wonder i wonder, all these job sites really work,
I wonder i wonder, all these job sites really work,
If you want to prove it right, find me a job where i sit tight,
If you want to prove it right, find me a job where i sit tight,

Job seeker, Job seeker, where have you been,
I have been to all these websites, but in vain,
Is there a train, which can find a job for my brain,
Time will reveal when will be sun shine!

I believe, I believe, I will get hired,
I believe, I believe, I will shine!
This poem is dedicated to all the job seekers!

ThonyRome
In the warmth, my soul shivers,
as I float above these blissful rivers,
with eyes like arrows in quivers
my gaze, unfazed, silent as weavers.

Dream child in my mind, apparently
wandering aimlessly, deep into a reality,
woven into a tapestry of a dream fantasy,
that I'll keep silent in my life's longevity

Children in my heart’s memories,
fill me up with nostalgic savories.
Thy presence of angelic embrace,
keeping hope in a heartfelt grace.
Our planet is like
A spec of dirt in the space
Our ego bigger than the space
In the human race

We call ourselves
**** sapiens, the wisest race
Still we fight bitter than animals
Dismissing the nature's grace

Of being unique.

Jobie
He's watching you
dancing in the underground
bleeding nose
and happy eyes

Heart racing
knowing he won't spare you today
but if he did
what waits for you outside
would show no mercy

You played your cards wrong
and used your last to make lines
You're a vulture.
Picking at weakened dead meat
To the point where
No one can just be.

You'll scavenge for every true part of me
Until all that is left
Is the skeleton underneath.

You prefer walking dead corpses
Of your own making
Instead of just letting others
Be comfortable enough
To be themselves.
Everything's offensive. You're way too sensitive so if people dont conform you refuse to allow them in your life and its pathetic.
