دema flutter
sip up your emotions,
swallow the days,
because what sparks
at night also dies
in the morning,
reflect on your
beating heart
and what made
it stop mid-way.

i look down
at the broken earth,
the world filled with sorrow
and grief,
hatred and anger;
the world that i hate.
i am so small
in a world like this,
so insignificant
compared to the billions,
my neck hurts
but all i can do it look down,
for it is better to look
upon this beaten earth,
than to stare straight into
the face of hell.
this is another two part poem! i'll post the next part later this week or next week. hope you enjoy!

Glow
Pieces

Glow
Pieces of you
Scattered across the ground like broken clay
Pages of you
Spread across the room like an unfinished manuscript
Fragments of you
Fractured like a picture frame
And here I stand with a broom
Wondering where to start

Thunderstorm

Glow
Black pools
White rain
Speckled starlight on a window pane

Whispering wind
Thunder's reply
Formless shapes of a clouded sky

Sweet rays
Honeysuckle sunlight
Warm embrace and storm's respite

My Japanese house is made of four walls,
North East with Kita
And South West with Tsurugi,

I painted my walls with nail chips that I bought from my land,
It's inhabited with skunk tails and sesame seeds,
I paint my walls for five scores and ten.

I bring unto my love into this foreign land,
splendour with Shobu and Lily,

I lie in peace and quiet as I stare at my Japanese walls.
The paint crumbles and falls upon me.
