screaming sabotage

all of this noise
not being heard

it is autumn.

You enjoy the darkness and serenity... yet you were attracted to me because I’m light and chaos. You yield to my rapture of energy. Your peace has compelled my heart to tranquility.

Distance
Coddled me into believing
Each step forward was the same,

Detachment
Led me to reason
Every unguarded move was safe,
So new, so pure.

Then all at once,
So Thirty Years' War,
Out the window
I was thrown.

She can walk
          between
             night and day
               never letting either
                  get in her way.
She learned this trick

           and never letting it show.

than most could endure.

              what you will spark.
