Ah my, old loves, new loves,
Old loves born anew.
First loves, last loves
loves you gave yourself to
Empty loves, whole loves
Loves not quite complete
Tragic loves, daring loves
Ah you sweep me off my feet
My loves, my love
The only one I've known
True love, brief love
**My love you are my home
Recently got into contact with someone I haven't spoken to in a while. Turns out I miss him.

James Joyce
He who hath glory lost, nor hath
Found any soul to fellow his,
Among his foes in scorn and wrath
Holding to ancient nobleness,
That high unconsortable one ---
His love is his companion.
And it suddenly occurred to me,
With a twirl of my purple umbrella
And whirl of raindrops racing to
The ground, that we all look like
Flowers from up high on rainy days.

You see, the sky had told me that
Perception is a silly thing, not unlike
Our planted kin; the dirt our past,
Rooted in memories we seek to sustain;
Drinking Time like water, a Sun tamer.

I don't see it very often
But when I do, it looks like this

It looks like red hair
Tied back in a pony tail
With eyes that no one thought could be so blue

It looks like 7:00 at night
As well as 6:30 in the morning
When the sun douses the sky in hue

It looks like the west
Or the east
Depending on where the mountains are

It looks like the girl three seats back
Who keeps tapping the desk nervously
Worrying about the scratch on her car

It looks like the pitch dark
With the small dots glowing
That you see when you look up at night

It looks like the beach
With the people swimming through the waves
Or lounging in the sand, soaking up the light

I never really knew beauty though
Until I first met you
With that confident smile
That you don't see very often
And eyes that no one thought could be so blue

What plummet, seas, to sound you—

All the long reaches spun out silver-white,

Turn you and cast drowned riches?

Or how again, O velvet night,

When the sky, stooping with its glittering load,

About the elf-locks of the curious grass

Scatters its sparklings, will you part almost

Upon the quintessential host?

Or how the figment spirit sleeping

Can it render body, ghost,

In its dream unseat the heavy monarch,

Conjure to the bleak wild coast

Its sunk, its deep delight,

Its night and mist divide, recall how flitting

Above the pallid thing,

Joy has an azure wing?

I've just met you
but it's easy to see
that you could be the one
I've been hoping to meet.
You could be that girl
I see in my dreams
the one who shows up
and sweeps me off my feet.
I do not know why
I feel this so fast
but I know one thing
I'd love if it'd last.

Tyler Durden
A fault line runs in me through and through
Awakening unexpectedly,
Tearing at me
Night and day.
It crackles in the skin of my hands
I hide it from everyone.
You changed that,
As we search for each other in the dark,
Our skin and hair
Here and there.
I slept with a soundtrack
Of your breaths,
Whispering to me
The calmness of assurance
What else could I need,
The cracks within me fell asleep,
And so did we.
I love you
