you never asked to read my poetry
maybe that was the sign.
i told you i wrote for fun,
you shrugged and moved on.

where’s it gonna end?
countdown from some to none
sinking into the mud from which we sprung
but come on sparky
sink a drink and compel the fatcats
to share the wealth
and when you do your job
complain all you like
moaning helps ease the pain
a medical fact

'Ah' to the subtle winds
that lifts the birds,
And the simple lake
that captivates...
Are we not but romantics
on the path of love?
Giving away our breaths
to the gasping ones...?
Saying, " breathe, breathe,"
Let our wings beat,
let us fly free
like the birds
in the breeze.

Dry colored leaves fall
making earth a warm blanket.
Nature takes a rest

Strange thing about beer.
The emptier the bottle is,
the heavier it gets.
