They gathered round the oak tree,
silently waiting, hearts pounding.
The east side wind was screaming,
for time was near.
The sacrifice of love was never to be understood,
like two birds twirling in circles.
I will be back...
...I love you

His last words echoed,
as his soul was sent into an infinite void.
Matthew 27:32-56
He was tall
He was good looking
He was wealthy
But she wasn't looking for all of those things
A sincere heart and a dedicated mind...
...these are the two qualities in a person which she cherished the most
Whistle sounds, alarm beeps
Battle drums, my heart beats
Rising sun, crowing ****
It is here, riddle me

Silent bath, floating thoughts
Towel dry, connected dots
Tucked in shirt, shiny shoes
One quick prayer, banished blues

Speeding cars, crowded trains
Changing lights, fast paced lanes
Blaring horns, jamming doors
Quiet rides, bone-face walks

Smell the air, raise your chin
**** in chair, eye on screen
A sip of coffee and you know you'll win
Welcome to Monday, you can get through

Mike Adam
Crawling across the earth
one of many creatures
crawling through the garden

Where is your dominion
termite mounds built high

Too many bonfires!
Too many bonfires!

Slur pee
The sand that fills my hourglass
Leads me to wayward oceans
To uneven shorelines,
That curves in slithers, like a snake;
Smooth, serene... Sneaky.
Waves bring to me gifts that I could never miss,
Fragile shells,
Shards of colored glass,
Rotten fish and whale carcasses.
I'll hide in a pungent cage of ribs
And spend the rest of my days,
In style- in waste.
Wasting away, with the water's swell and sway
Erode these rusted bones and expose my hollow.
Feed the hunger that deeply burrows in our Mother,
The ravenous desire that crawls through polluted entrails
She'll prevail, She'll prevail!
Consuming corpses the size of whales,
We try to exist but to no avail.
She'll prevail, over souls that create hell
Caging them in chaotic oceans
That pull
And push in
Twisted, slithering motions.
I'm walking on glass that's broken,
I can see Jesus on the surface
If I squint and find the focus
Just casually strolling,
Over torment and through glory.
I throw my feeble voice like Pinocchio
If it'll land in any hands, well
Only god would know.

A childish poem, for Lady RF, prompted by my comment on her poem Tree House.
I'm looking at the night sky
It's a clear sky tonight
Not a patch of cloud
The moon is shining with all it's glory
But unlike other nights i can see just the one solitary star
I guess this particular star wanted some time alone with the moon
I wonder what they might be talking about
Perhaps they might be sharing some beauty tips or secrets i guess
'Coz let's be honest...the moon might be the jewel of the night sky
But the night sky is incomplete without the stars

Paint my world black
Colors are too bright
I'd rather stew in the absence
Of all the light.
It reflects what I feel inside,
A void that I can't hide.
Look through my gaping holes
That take the place of eyes.
Can you see the demons that bore
Through crumbling head,
Through fevered mind?
The sun is slowly fading,
Being devoured by hungry night.
And all the stars disappear
As I wish on them, they die.
The moon mocks me with his...
Smile made of mischief;
Suspicious and vicious,
He collects unfulfilled wishes
And keeps all of my tides twisted.
I'm giving up, I'm listless;
No one wants to listen
To the crying of the wind,
That echoes with my
Unwavering pain.

Might there be a fountain
where souls long dead from thirst
find spirits raised to life in floods abounding free,
so that what once walked as corpse,
night-bound and blind, may see?
Old self exchanged for Treasure,
diving in tastes such rejuvenation
as can't be weighed by mortal measure—
wine unlike our earth-grown fruit whose petals fall,
from this Vine flowers the pleasantness of Love Divine
which bathes in healing waters all
who come as humble newborn with bold **** to dine.
"Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'"  John 4:13-14

"Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.'"  John 6:35

"On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.'"  John 7:37-38

"'I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.'"  John 15:5
