our lips will never meet
nor our fingers intertwine
and so bless my dreams
for indulging what's not mine
She keeps songs
locked away in boxes
like secrets.
She will take them out
like postcards
to help her remember
the feeling of
a different time,
a different person
by her side.
She likes the one
that makes her
eyes close
to see the lights.
She smiles at
the one that
makes her stand
up on tiptoes,
the one that
helps her forget
she doesn’t know
what to do
with her hands.

The tune
will carry her.

Like it did
the times when
voices broke
like a heart.
When instruments’ strings
would snap
and hurt.

i think, therefore i am
mentally unstable
can you feel the full extent
of the power that lives deep within me
now you do not have your blood stained hands
constrictively tied around my neck?
The magic of life consists in the hidden
The shade, the dark and the forbidden
Behind the veil of mortal things
Infinity, eternity sing
Wisdom of the other world
To hearing mind revealed, unfurled
My joy is real, fantasies my bliss
I see sunshine as a kiss
I stare at the white ice crystals,
As they fall, so peacefully to the ground,
They travel so far, floating free,
When they land, never making a sound.

Like an artist painting a picture,
They are slowly turning everything, the color white,
They can shut down airports, and roadways,
With little effort or might.

The peaceful atmosphere they create,
Seems to catch and hypnotize, every eye around,
Bringing back memories to the older people,
As the children, run up the hill to slide back down.

The air temperature controls their destiny,
How long they will be in our town,
As the warmer rays of the sun, come our way,
They slowly melt, into the thawing ground.

She was the moon
then the sun rose,
daylight looked on,
as he buried away
his dear prose,
a grave to mourn?
or a seed was sown?
She was the winter
then the sun rose,
all the blood bled,
all the tears shed,
manured into the land,
on which they both wed,
and in the deep ends lied
his dear prose.

she thought he grasped
every atom inside of her
so gently
that surely she would break
