Their laugh was your alarm,
You woke up to find yourself down.

Don't let your awakening be caught
In the circle of sleep and sentience again.

Live. In every moment. Don't close your eyes anymore.
Don't rest now. An uneasy siesta just isn't enough.

Saddle your dragon and fly to the limitless sky.
Breach your extremes and push through them.

Let your armor shine, let them know they forged it.
The pain they caused, it has welded with your skin.

When you arise from your trial,
*The next time they laugh, there won't be tears in your eyes.

Is a realm where alchemy is alive and well
It resides in the aether making it difficult to envision
A place of dreams but if you are imaginative
There is also structure

Dreams without structure are just whispers of nothingness
Quickly dissipating
Without structure, dreams quickly fold back into the aether
Waiting for a less superfluous re-imagination

To make it on the physical plane, there must be roots
When dreams are infused with structure, roots can be found
There is potential that those dreams can wake up

When the dreams are provided with structure and
Are re-animated with function
Then we have a breath of life

Structure and function are what allows Us
To step out of dreamtime and into reality
To find the roots of that architecture you must have vision
Not see with your eyes vision, but a different type

This framework hasn’t always existed
Relations have created it
That’s why it’s recognizable
The framework are the laws, both natural and synthetic

It’s the place where duality and non-duality collide
It’s a place of transcendence
A place of truth
Maybe we can learn to see holistically here

Anisotropica has many functions
It’s art and science fused
It’s poetry and song and dance
And mathematics and physics and chemistry
It is an expression of sacred geometry
An amalgamation of binary and analog

The fusion of dreams and laws
Creates a space that can be mined for transcendence
A place where we can extend past many current limitations
It's a springboard to become who you are

And then it hit me;

it had nothing to do with the fact that I tripped over a rock
fell and scraped my knee, crushed orange leaves and marred
them against me-it'd be tricky to get this off in one wash.

I was caught by an overdue epiphany;

it had been chasing me since the beginning of everything but
I promise it was not the reason I jogged each and every season
back and forth-which I suppose also was metaphorically.

Nothing was going to change;

I got up and brushed my raw hands on my ***** pants,
mud stuck to the heel of them and trickles of sweat fell down and
made everything that much colder-windy city.

If I kept waiting;

my breath came is white puffs, rapid and elevated,
the sun broke through the thin barrier of gray clouds and I swore
just a bit at the state of my ripped pants.

For someone to come and alter it;

my legs were burning at the sudden discontinuity of motion and thus
I got up and stretched once more- my knee was bleeding- inhaled deeply
the scent of crushed leaves and began my journey home.

It was me all along;

Children played,undisturbed by the chilly breezes of Autumn,
they fell and laughed merrily as though falling was just a sanguine
thing to do.

And it wasn't easy, I know;

The wind took the tiny tangerine hats off trees, blowing, howling,
the leaves soared at the mercy of nature's cycle-death and rebirth-
and suddenly my excuse of “what's the point? I'll die anyway.”
seemed petty and amusing.

I needed to change to change things.

A child, unafraid of pain, dove unto a pile of gathered leaves,
disappeared in a midst of orange and red after emerging
flushed and jolly, snickering and snorting. I crossed the road
and reached the door.
And after I let water fall and take away the dirt, a stray leaf had
made its way to my hair and I did not throw it away but kept it
as a reminder of the tumble I took to fall to this conclusion.

Autumn fell unto my world, feathers bright like the plumage of
a Phoenix bird in flight.
True story, of a rather obvious thing I had ignored for a long time.

I've seen a vast Ocean of Eyes
darting back and forth
left and right
undulating sequence
along the Moonlit night

this is No Trickling Stream you See
this is a raging Ocean of White froth Life

Herein lies the Chasm of Awareness
or Stairs of Consciousness,
if you need
the Praying Mantis shifts its Eyes
(Kneeling in the Blackness)
Down the very bottom of this
deep dark Ravine

We are the Creatures
We are the Seeds that We sow
We are all Mirrors

Tell me....what more must Eye know?????
Watching Life of Pi
turning my head and holding my breath a lot.
oh yeah, and shedding a tear or two..or three...ok, I lost count

As this old years starts to draw to a close
And a new years about to begin
What then does the future hold?
More death destruction and sin?

Can we improve this sad mad world?
Where the bomb and bullet are God.
This place where mans inhumanity reigns
And we bow low to political hold

What does it matter the death of a child?
The grief of parents and friends
Well it matters not the death of that child
When it can be used for political gain

Mans intent to destroy this beautiful world
The pollution of water and land
Where will it end, what can we do
To halt the rot that descends?

We just sit back, "It won't happen to me"
Well sorry but that's not the case
Tomorrow it could be you, could be me
Who wakes up to face that last day

The white gold of drugs being sold to our kids
These days they're starting so young
Lining the pockets of evil
WHAT WILL THE NEW YEAR BRING???
This is a re write of something I wrote some time ago. This year is coming to a close, what future does the new year hold for us?

Wait
Hurry up!
No, you slow down
You were always faster than me, what has happened to you?
Things change
Catch up, I'll wait
Why don't you just go ahead?*
Because, my love,
We started this together,
And the finish-line without you,
Would just be my *finish

i am broken
i am broken
i'm a broken girl

I am tired
i am tried
of this cold cruel world

it is pointless
it is pointless
it's pointless it seems

when you're broken
when you're broken
and have no dreams

~~~
I am broken
i am broken
I'm a broken man
there is no one
there is no one
who really understands
how can i
how can i
live in this place?
the eternal
the eternal
rat........ race
~~~

I was broken
I was broken
for you my child

I lived here
I lived here
in this world so wild

I was beaten
I was beaten
and hung on a cross

I died
I died
for the lost

I know all
I know all
that you go through

when you're broken
when you're broken

I'LL RESCUE YOU

This is a rewrite of a song
I wrote in 2009

It is posted for a poet friend...

Jesus was labeled illegitimate
From birth... which means he
Was ostracized

He spent many years alone

He never married

He was criticized and tempted
By trickery throughout His
Ministry... many of His followers
Abandoned Him... even His
Inner circle lacked faith
Didn't pray for Him during the
Most trying time of His
Short life... one denied Him

And one totally betrayed Him... with a KISS.

Most people know the rest
Of the story....

What did He say almost with
His final breath?

Father, FORGIVE THEM.
FOR THEY KNOW NOT
WHAT THEY DO...

HE FORGAVE US.
WHO ARE WE NOT
TO FORGIVE OURSELVES?
