Do you watch the sky
The way I
Watch memories rewind
And sink your hand
Into pools of midnight sea
Searching for wet sand
Rocks and seashells
To build a clock tower
On the edge of this receding shore
That rests half in my heart
And half in yours
And gaze for dawn
While swimming in these
Pools of sapphire blue
dreams?

When it is hard
Then I know
I have chosen the right path
The universe does not
Need to teach me this lesson again
I learned
I am listening still
To jagged words
My eyes do not betray me
Ghosts of a past life
Permiating
I am a gentle sinner
Do not bring violence among us
Leave space between us
I am not bitter or angry or burdened
Do not threaten my peace
I fear the screams in the night
Will one day be shuttled
From my own throat
Worse beyond that
I fear they will be silenced
I loved the quiet once
She is tension now
Tension between now and tomorrow

5:52am
The bright morning sun comes out to play,
considerable yawns
and we are all awake,
anchored in the reef,
ready for its mischief

11:16am
The children excitedly point starboard
to a school of dolphins
leaping for joy as they go by,
little hands wave hello and goodbye,
'thank you' in their eyes,
etched now in their little minds
as a timeless memory

3:31pm
Everyone is napping,
except my significant other,
she slips off her clothes
and enters the afternoon water
for a bit of meditative bathing,
the shimmer of light
reflecting off her beauty
as a siren of Anthemoessa,
I cannot help but somnolently observe
do I dream this belief?
or do I believe this dream?

9:47pm
The boat rocks gently to
the rhythms of the sea,
the stars overhead form
a celestial blanket,
sheltering, enveloping,
their far off twinkles
telling us a story
—a time for spindrifting
—a time for bed

Gently I grasp her
pulling her body near mine
until our lips meet...Kelly McManus
found her
in a cage in a palace garden
or circus ?
who knows, who knew?
without hope (in humanity)
bereft of needs
surrendered to her God
standing outside the caged horror,
humans heard the Word,
human found the key to release her,
human being told her, she could be more, told her, she had worth,
man stood up for the worthless discarded female child
released her shackles
even though  his loyalty was not to her,
another trick,
no matter,
It mattered
trapped then in a fog
which dispersed today to reveal herstory
thanks for giving a glimpse of how
thanks you, ***** of light in the overwhelming never ending darkness she was destined to greet
at the place where he found her feet
compassion in that sea of ice
not one or two but thrice
must have been a destiny
on the path
of Kings
from the beginning
that  horror was waiting
how far and wide that darkness spread
reeled confusion on her head
the one thing she knew and knew for sure
they weren't her sins that piled her down
it takes a village to ignore a kid
only a King knows how to act
only a King does not do that
So now, after four weeks we can look for a job in any sector or be sanctioned and by sanctioned I don't think they mean like terminated although with this shower in power one never knows.

fukin amazin'
plenty of jobs to fit your face in,
I'd try for
brain surgeon,
chicken plucker
sleeping policeman
or I could be a
dumb waiter,
ha, that'll upset some
bearing in mind that
most waiters are not dumb.

This lot in parliament
don't seem to have a clue.

You are an open flower
I cannot help but wonder
Is this pure consciousness
Have you closed your soul
So soon
Unburden yourself of the past
She is not today's weight

Just arrived new union and realized yeah
Scissors roam my hallways
Cutting through the spindly legs
Of things that want to harm me-
Things that wear a different face
Every time I meet them.

Hammers gather in the yard
That’s overrun with trouble,
Ready to march up and smash
The jagged rocks that trip me
And would ******* me forever.

Saws line the bedroom walls
Where nightmares lurk in corners,
Hoping to devise a way
To spring to life in daytime.
But the saws keep them at bay.

The scythe hides in the garden shed
Keeping watch for dangers,
Waiting for the purple moon
That signifies the time is right
To sally forth and take me.
