There's times in life that seem so sad
We've been through trial by fire
But all along you stood by me
All through life's muck and mire!
Not ever once was I alone
You've always seen me through
Though broken down and tired yourself
With love you stood so true!
I'm awe inspired by love you have
No matter circumstance
You've always shown amazing strength
Each time you had a chance!
You've broken down each wall I'd built
To never love again
You've shown me how to stand so strong
And take it on the chin!
It's almost though you've super strength
My world you often shook
You've shown me love that's beyond strong-
A hero in my book!
I tell you this one thing right now
I'm not the perfect man
I've failed at times all through my life
To live God's simple plan!
This one thing now I've came to see
Just as a rose has thorns,
As grandest ocean here on earth
Is rocked at times by storms,
It's who's beside you in those times
That tells the final tale
So thanks to you beside me then
Those hard times often pale!

Through all my life and many years,
   as sin in life I trod;
You bent your knees to pray and beg,
   I'd turn my life to God!

You raised me right and showed the way,
   to God, the narrow path;
Yet as I ran the other way,
   you prayed He'd spare His wrath!

You never judged, but stood by me,
   for all those sin-filled years;
You always showed your love for me,
   yet silently shed tears!

Now as you know, I've given all,
   my life to His control;
I thank My Lord for second chance,
   since once I let Him go.

He's shown me how to live again,
   He's given life anew;
He watched 'ore me and led my way,
   in life He's seen me through!

Those times I know I let you down,
   you never let it show;
It's since you fought SO hard for me,
   the Devil let me go!

Thanks to the prayers you knelt and prayed,
   my Lord has set me free;
And though I ran so hard from God,
   through all, you stood by me!

There's something bout the day I'm  gone,
   somewhere beyond the sky;
That glorious day I'm finally Home,
   to  spread my wings and fly!

I think about the life in Heavn'
   to feel no bit of pain;
To walk a street that's paved with gold,
   or ride a drop of rain!

To see a friend whose never walked,
   who've lived their life in chairs;
With tears of joy they thank My God,
   for legs that work up there!

To share the joy with all those one's,
   who've gone on just before;
To sit and chat for all of time,
   to walk on Heaven's shore!
  
To open massive set of gates,
   they say are made of pearl;
To live a life fit for a king,
   no longer this 'ole world!

To ask My Jesus face to face,
    "Just how'd you turn your cheek;
to take away our sin each day;
    to save lost soul's like me?"

That life you're living now today,
    leads nowhere but down hill;
It takes your soul both night and day,
   and eats away your will.

There's not a day has yet gone by,
   when living in the past;
Has helped you move ahead in life,
   or form a bond to last!

You must move out your comfort zone,
   just dare to do what's right;
Remember doing good today
   will help you sleep tonight!

Now take the time to look around,
   to see those in despair;
They may just need to feel they're loved,
   to know that someone cares!

It's time you make your presence known,
   to stand above the rest;
To be what others wish they were,
   in life to be your best!

Your love is far more beautiful
Than peaceful autumn days
Its quite a bit more brilliant
Than warm and sunny rays!
It's so much far more wonderful
Than eagle soaring high
It's more than pleasant to behold
Than soft clouds rolling by!
Oh yes your love is far more rich
Than all the gold on earth
It'd blow the minds of anyone
To see your loves real worth!
It feels far more than good to me
I've felt it from the start
As you've broken down the walls I'd made
You've softened hardest heart!
It's hard to say when someone asks
Just how does true love feel
I can't explain with any words
This feeling that's so real!
I wished that everyone could feel
This feeling of true love
The closest thing to Heaven on earth
As sent from God above!

Your name was called in Heaven's roll,
   one moment far too soon;
I miss you more than words can say,
   each moning, night and noon!

I've tried so hard to just move on,
   though long as we're apart;
There's just no hope to live again,
   with such a broken heart!

We more than made a matching pair,
    we made the best of teams;
But now the only thing I've left,
   is shattered hopes and dreams!

Since now you're walking streets of gold,
   behind those gates of pearl;
I know you're blessed more than I am,
   still strolling this olé world!

I guess in words I'm tryin' to say;
   you've left me on my own;
I'm glad to know you're doin' well,
   not heartbroke and alone.

    connect with just a smile;
Don't think you'll once just get away,
   you'll feel it for awhile!

So when you see her walking by,
   or pass her once today;
Be ready now, I'm warnin' you,
   she'll take your breath away!!

'Tis all my burdens lifted now
  because of My God's grace.
He's seen me through the trials of life,
  He'll see me through life's race!

'Twas grace that brought my loved ones down,
  each one all to their knees.
They prayed for me to stop my run,
  to shake the devil free!

'Twas grace that opened up my eyes,
  once blind in sin I trod;
But now I see there's more to life,
  when living it for God!

'Twas grace that washed away my sin,
  the time I first believed.
My God had paid the final cost,
  His blood my sins relieved!

'Twas grace that took away my fear,
  through hard times come and gone.
My Jesus held me close to Him,
  all through life's night till dawn!

'Twas grace that showed me how to live
  for My God every day.
I strive to spread His love around
  in everything I say!

'Twas grace that paved my way to Him,
  for one day soon I'll stand;
Home with My Jesus face to face,
  in Heaven's Beulah Land!

'Twas grace that brought this sinner home,
  now in my rightful place.
Thank God I've got another chance
  with His amazing grace!

Have you went
  to God in prayer,
And really wondered
  if He cared?

We surely know,
  His promise keep;
He'll lead and guide us
  when we seek!

Though often times,
  His answers small;
We sometimes even
  miss 'em all.

It's up to us
  to hear and listen,
So when He speaks
  we'll never miss Him!

For when you seek
  My Lord above,
He's there to bless,
  and show His love.

He sometimes answers
  so softly spoken,
But best believe,
  no promise broken!

There's other times,
  with thunderous roar,
He answers prayers,
  and so much more!

And then there's times,
  to show He cares;
He'll bless us with
  unanswered prayers;

'Cause My God knows,
  there's some requests,
His no reply
  will treat us best!

You'll never find a love like God's,
   as sent from Heaven' above;
You'll find He's always by your side,
   there's vict'ry in His love!

He'll always lead and guide us,
   as shepherd leads his flock,
He'll hold us up through storms of life,
   there's vict'ry in The Rock!

My God protects you from His throne,
   through everything you face;
He'll show you mercy, love and more,
   there's vict'ry in God's grace!

He showed true love from Calvary,
   true love we can afford;
Don't once lose hope, just look to Him,
   there's vict'ry in My Lord!

If asked to give but just one word,
  of what He is to you;
The first word that now comes to mind,
   of all that He can do...

My Jesus is My Saviour,
   He hung on Calvary,
He gave His all to take our sin,
   and died to set us free!

My Jesus is My Sovereign,
   the Ruler of ALL things;
Let's go to Him on bended knee,
   for He is King of Kings!

My Jesus is My Shepherd,
   each one of us His sheep;
He always leads our path each day,
   He'll watch us, guide and keep!

My Jesus is My Captain,
   in seas that overwhelm;
You'll make it through each storm of life,
   with Jesus at the helm!

My Jesus gets more real each day,
   now hear His gentle call;
You ask me what He is to me,
   I'll tell you, "He's My All!"

There's times in life we're just not sure,
   which way is best to go;
Those times when life seems far to hard,
    in life we're dealt a blow

We may not see the light to come,
   the end seems far away;
Life really seems not worth it now,
   to wake up one more day.

I know it's hard, I've been there too,
   where dying would bring peace;
Where not one thing could make me smile,
   no help the pain could ease.

Just hear me out, I've got some news,
   I finally found the way,
To stand up strong, to live again,
   to face another day.

I gave it all to God Himself,
   let Jesus fight my war;
And that He did, He fought for me,
   this war and many more!

Now every day I give Him thanks,
   for guidance from above;
For keeping me so safe from harm,
   wrapped in His Wings of Love.

In love I feel I've struck it rich
I finally staked my claim
I chipped away at hardest heart
And struck the richest vein!
I felt I'd never hit it big
I'd nearly given in
I felt I'd never find the one
My heart would never win!
Then one sweet day you waltzed right in
Was so far from prepared
I had to look not once but twice
To see you standing there!
I said "I think you might be lost"
You said "I know my way"
I knew right then I'd hit my mark
I fell in love that day!
You showed me love I'd never known
I soon had lost control
I gambled big, my heart at stake
But love was on a roll!
I took the chance and placed the bet
I shoved my whole stack in
I flopped a flush right from the start
And hearts had won again!
So as you see it all paid off
Although I had to dig
With you I'm now the richest man
In love, I'm winning big!

Some try so hard to do their best,
   some others just give in;
It's up to you to make the choice,
   to fall or fight to win!

We all have stumbled down at times,
   crushed loved ones in our wake;
They all deserve a better man,
   your life, the prize at stake!

There's family, friends and loved ones 'round,
   who'd die for you today;
For once to see you turn around,
   to head the other way!

They love their friend, their son or dad,
   they want what's best for you;
To step it up, to beat the odds,
   as only YOU can do!

Don't put it off, not one more day,
   to show them who you are;
Just fight to win the war ahead,
   keep reaching for the stars!

Now live each moment like your last,
   tomorrow may not come;
Yet dream a dream so big for now
   to conquer number One!

There's one thing now I know in life;
   My God will answer prayer.
He watches 'ore me night and day,
   my burdens for to bear!

He's willing to forgive my sin,
   if simply I will ask;
He'll heal the wounds, the broken hearts,
   and leave them in the past!

Don't worry 'bout those little things,
   just give them all to God;
He'll show you He is in control
   in ANY life we trod!

When ever feeling all alone,
   just trust in this one thing-
My God is always by your side;
   your sheltered 'neath His wing!

He's sure to let some hard times come,
   He let's us feel some pain;
He'll make our hearts more pliable,
   with heat from trial's flame!

Don't EVER get so down and out
   and think He's left your side,
Just turn and look - He's standing there,
   with arms spread open wide!

So think about this in your life,
   when Satan means you harm;
My God has got you safely wrapped-
   in comfort of His Arms!

As the lightning dances round,
   and the thunder's deafening roar;
You may feel My God has left you,
   or His love is never more!

Your heart is filled with sadness,
   your body weary and weak;
Your eyes, they burn with sorrow,
   as tears roll down your cheeks.

The devil says "Get angry,
   God took this one from you!";
He fills your mind with questions,
   and says"God's love's not true!".

"How could He leave me lonely?
   How could He take you away?
How could He do this to me?
  I can't live another day"!

"What have I done to Him?
   How could this all be?
Have I lived my life so wrong?
   Has He turned His back on me?".

My God has every answer,
   To all questions just above,
He puts turmoil in our life,
   to help us trust His love!

It was Him that blessed you with
  the time you got to spend,
Here beside your beautiful love,
   He placed with you on lend!

It's nothing that you've done,
   nor have you lived so wrong;
For without some trials in life,
   we could never be this strong!

Their time on earth was through,
   I'm sure He had a place;
Bet His choir of angel singers,
   must've had an open space!

Now see that smile upon His face,
   as you loved one sings His praise;
Backed by a million angel singers,
   as their voice's they raise!

Yes, My God will see you through,
   each day you live from here;
If you'll give it all to God,
   you bet, He'll hold you near!

I've felt some moment here on earth
A sign of God above
He sent a blessing down to earth
Wrapped in your faithful love!
He showed me first a life without
A bit of love to feel
Then blessed me with your perfect love
This love i know is real!
I feel these special moments when
I see your joy and charm
I feel the presence of true love
Each time you're in my arms!
I take such pride each time you reach
To grab me in your sleep
It makes me feel you need me there
To hold you,watch and keep!
I've felt your love empower me
As time has rolled along
I've seen you face great trials for me
While standing bold and strong!
I pray my Lord will show me how
To love you in return
I pray He'll show the best way how
In love to always learn!
I can't explain just what it's like
To feel this feeling of-
The best example known to man
All packaged in your love!

I never knew a heart could feel
The pleasure of a smile,
But since I saw your loving face
I've known it all the while!
You give me hope with each new breath
I take now in my life
You give me strength for fighting
All this sorrow, pain and strife!
You are a true example
Of what love is meant to be
You've always stood so bold and strong
A pillar next to me!
You fill my heart with happiness
You're willing to forgive,
Yes with your love beside me here
My life I'll gladly live!
You've shown me how to live for God
Walk with Him everyday
You've shown me how to talk with Him
While on your knees to pray!
So now you see you've changed my life
With brightness of your smile

And go the extra mile!
