I think a part of us
knew this was never
meant to last,
and how could it?
We were too different-
two worlds colliding,
and yet we did not care.
We let love prevail-
it was too strong to deny.

I wonder who sewed my clothes,
who made my shoes, who carved these walls that surround me—
carved my face, the sharp planes and the soft ones.
Who made me fierce, yet left me with a bleeding heart.
Who decided I was to be anything at all— and why it chose to shape the world as such.
Why this universe is one I am forced to grace—and taint.
One that, perhaps, taints me in return.
How these walls I call my skull are truly me,
and not some elaborate illusion.
I am but a piece of meat, a floating brain bumping around in a soup of blood, muscles, and bones.

What even am I?
And who are you?

I don’t mind that I’m childlike,
With wonder in my gaze,
While grown-ups chase the ticking clock,
Lost in their endless maze.
They talk of rules and weighty things,
Of life that must be tough,
But I wonder when the world forgot
That joy can be enough.
Why call it childish to be free?
To dance in rain, to laugh with glee,
When every “grown-up” part of me
Would rather be wild, bold, and free.
You speak of “adulting” like a crown,
A burden worn with pride,
But I’d trade all the grown-up frowns
For the child I feel inside.
They say we must grow up and conform,
That freedom’s something to outgrow,
But I know deep within my heart,
It’s the child who makes us whole.
So yes, I’ll be childish, and I’ll play,
With love and light to guide my way,
For in this world of rules and grind,
It’s the child that keeps me kind.

Behold my soul, both meek and bold,
A story of love, yet untold.
I am but dust, and you the sky,
In your embrace, I live and die.

I am a whisper in the wind's soft sigh,
A fleeting shadow beneath your eye.
My heart, a flame, both fierce and small,
A spark that rises, then dares to fall.

In the silence of your gaze, I am found,
A river of thought where echoes drown.
You, the vast horizon where dreams take flight,
I, the spark that flickers in the quiet night.

Through storms of time and winds of grace,
I seek your light, your boundless space.
I am the soil, you the star,
Together whole, though worlds apart.

In your arms, the world does bend,
A circle that begins and ends.
I am but dust, yet in your sigh,
I live, I love, I breathe, I die.

Maai, I wouldn’t have gone this far
Never would have dared to do this
But you weren’t around to guide me
And baba said you won’t return.

Maai, I feel homeless without you
Like a droplet fallen away
From the sea and far from thee
But baba never consoled me.

Maai I never knew the meaning
Of those volcanic emotions
underneath your struggle and smile
But baba never saw your fears.

Maai, you’ve gone away too far
To a place that you deem safe
Where no one knows that you and I
are bound together by fate.

So many extremes these days it seems
Have an opinion other than me
To where their opinion cancels out mine
Who's to say I'm wrong, making them right

How things should work and to what degree
We tend to pay when they say that it's free
Where they end up costing quite a bit more
But that's just my opinion for all that it's worth

Never afraid to have their say
At any given moment or particular day
They could ambush you out of the blue
Whenever they differ from your point of view

If you give more than your share of opinions away
People won't care what you have to say
It might be best to keep to yourself
An opinion or two if nothing else

Of course, this is just my opinion
Feel free to ask anyone
There's always more to bring to the floor
Where that opinion came from

In English we say
"I love you;"
In poetry we say
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,"
And roll their eyes,
They do.

If only they knew
They're missing the view.
I believe the original author of the phrase "In poetry we say..." is Whitney Hanson.

Break up

I fell in love....
But did he really love me
I always wondered
For 8 months I wondered
If you loved me

At the beginning
I felt you love me
It was May 26
You couldn’t get enough of me
But...
In September you just stopped
You stopped loving me.....
At that moment I knew
something was going on in your head
But I let it go and two months went by
They went by quickly......
On November... you faded away
My hands became cold
My body shivered
My head spining
I was trying to understand
Understand your face
Your expressions
Body language
And your words....
But nothing really made sense
Or I was I missing pieces
That I needed to fit together
December came by
Quite an exciting month...
Little that ik it would fall apart from then
One day I asked if you were ok...
You said... yes
But I knew you were not
January came and you became distant
Your became even dryer
You became cold towards me
But I thought it was just stress
From everything around you
Life, but...
One day you texted
-you wanted to talk to me-
My heart skipped a beat
Thoughts ran through my head
You call me the same night
You said....
You lost feelings for me a moth ago
I was heartbroken 💔
I became hot, I started sweating
Shaking....
Hot tear pour down my face
They kept coming, drowning me
The pain I felt was unbearable
As if I was stabbed in my chest

Y-you lied to me
For a moth u said to my face
You loved me, but did you really!
NO!
You didn't, it's been three day since
And now I sit in my bed
Still loving you
But your not mine anymore
So I pray to GOD that he gives me peace
And HE would heal me
And hopefully my feelings for you
Would fade away like you did
I still love him, but ik GOD has bigger plans for me and HE will heal this pain

I wish I could write
Proper poetry
Me and me cat
Just smile
She’s just woken up
And me pet mouse
Has run a mile.
Im reading  poetry by
Wordsworth
A bit of Byron to
When it comes to
To writing poetry
I haven’t got a clue.
Wandered lonely as a cloud
Been doing that everyday
Stuck with ******
Romeo and Juliet
Inside a Shakespeare play.
Poetry poetry
I have not a clue
Me and my stylus
We go a bit askew.

Lamb
 Jan 20 Raven
Ellery
The sky is bone-white
and guilty-faced,
and some horrible cry is preparing itself
between my two lips–
I have become lamb from sheep,
   regressed again;
I cannot stop screaming,
I cannot graze the land
without knowing that I am becoming
someone I have already been.

The things that make me happy,
that used to,
all exist in some other place:
   where I came from,
where I’ll never be again,
where the creek water is always warm
and the lamb-scream
is so deep inside of me
I cannot reach it with my fist.
