Today was a dream
Unconsciously I worked
Whilst the mind wondered

I should start a farm

I glance at my phone

Still in the present

Pondering dark thoughts
Tossing and turning in sweat
Yearning for slumber

I may seem fragile,
but I'm tempered by the flames
of pure devotion.

Beers had with laughter
Bondings had with hugs and tears
Life-long memories

You don't always get
everything you've given out
back, and that's okay
