Yesterday is gone
Where will I be tomorrow
Still in the present

I should start a farm
of sheep so I'll have enough
To count when I sleep

Pondering dark thoughts
Tossing and turning in sweat
Yearning for slumber

Today was a dream
Unconsciously I worked
Whilst the mind wondered

Those days are long gone
Memories trapped in the past
We have grown apart

Beers had with laughter
Bondings had with hugs and tears
Life-long memories

I don't deserve all
the love I've been given
But I love you all

The trees keep growing
The flowers keep blossoming
Shouldn't we still grow?

I may seem fragile,
but I'm tempered by the flames
of pure devotion.

You don't always get
everything you've given out
back, and that's okay

I saw you crying
And even for a moment
I saw the real you

Some days seem real
Feeling grounded where I stand.
Other days slip reality
Like floating

                                       dream.

I glance at my phone
Look for a glow that's not there
Then I check again.

Sometimes love is a bug
That you have caught in a jar
You must let them free

You were standing there;
Our eyes met, I saw that smile.
Thats when I was sure

You'll find me again
Hopefully by then you've changed
