Christmas Tree
red blue green
white
and weeping with
tinsel tears
of joy
we've made it baby
to easy street and parts
beyond
Happy Holidays!

I live on the Moon now
I built a tower of tears
It burst straight through the atmosphere
Landed on the Moon
Won't be back soon
It's surprisingly warmer up here

It's your fault
Forgiveness will mean nothing
If you will not forgive yourself
Because it's okay if it's your fault.

She
stared at me
quietly...
A misunderstanding. Sitting alone in the cafeteria and watching my hot coffee, turned back to see, she was sitting alone and staring at me...

DECEMBER MORNING

DECEMBER MORNING
The chill is seeping
Through my sweatsuit
As I walk this
Cold December morning
My cheeks feel icy-
My nose is red.
(Rudolph will not get
The best of me.)
A con-trail rips
Across the sunrise sky -
White slash against
The pink-tinged blue.
An increasing yellow glow
Begins to seep its way
Slowly down the
Jagged mountains.
And the gentle rising
Of the Winter Sun
Gives promises
Of warmth and comfort.
To a world in need of both.
ljm
Walking stirs my creative juices.

Blooming Right
The red bloom that festoons your petals
Reminds me of your petulant cheeks,
Fading in the light
To a coarse rust,
Breaking, falling
To the base,
Mixed with dust.
So take that :)
