I see no poetry in her eyes
I see me, and betrayal and lies
I see the emotions she tries to hide
While it pours like the rain outside

I reached out to lessen the tears
But I felt her walls up, as I cried
This is when my mistakes and fears
Bite me with guilt that I can’t survive

Can you please tell her this:
You know my weakness eats me alive
And I am a coward who doesn’t fight;
who refuses when you want a hug so tight

I should have cherished you like
You’re my life preserver, you own my life
But I hurt you like the lightning strike
I never learned how to make you alright

What I really wanna say is I am sorry
the memories slice my heart like a knife
I am sorry, I’m so ungrateful; awful
I left you all on your own that night.

For you, my love.

Thank you.

You gave me "always" when all I've known were "almosts" and "nevers".

You gave me "lifetime" when the world was changing and temporary.

Your sincerity broke down the walls that kept my heart locked in.

Your love has won the battle, triumphed over my little insecurities and self-doubt.

You, all that makes you, have won me over.

And will win me over, over and over again.

Today, tomorrow, and for a lifetime that is ahead of us.

Thank you for being brave enough to love me, when sometimes I couldn't even love myself.

Thank you for being you. You are the best choice, and will always be my choice.

I love you. Good night.
To the person who broke down my walls and loved me in both my strength and fragility. I love you.

I believe that now,
more than ever,
we are in need of souls
that pour their hearts
onto paper at 3am.

When the world is quiet,
that's when we hear the best.

‌• you are not defined by those who refused to love you.
‌• you're still strong even on your weak days.
‌• you're beautiful, body and mind both included.
‌• it's okay to cut ties with toxic people.
‌• letting people in is hard, it takes time.
‌• forgive yourself for your mistakes.
‌• your feelings are always valid.
‌• crying can sometimes bring you back to where you need to be.
‌• hold the people who constantly check on you closest to you.
‌• love and care for yourself, don't wait for someone else to.
‌• everyone grows at their own rates.
‌• it hurt because it matters.
‌• the past tends to linger but don't let it control you.
‌• put yourself first.
‌• not everyone has the ability to understand you.
‌• you're doing a good job, try not to be so ******* yourself.
‌• don't seek out love, let it find you.
‌• your scars eventually won't cut so deep.
‌• grief is a part of a life and maybe one day it won't feel so heavy.
‌• you're worth so much more than you think you are.
Just reminding myself to love myself.

Will your world come to a halt,
When one day my breaths will do;
Or it will be marked by laughter-
The signature of you?

Today I miss you,
In fact, I always do
Outside the sky is blue,

But so is my heart
It longs for our start

The Dove and the Swan
Together, United, finally as one

The void is there,
And soon apart my heart it shall tear

And render Swan an abstraction of a man
And Dove’s ocean will stay and empty dam

But in due time,
Dove can flutter into my arms,
And I can embrace her as mine
The void will be no more
And again, life will flourish on the ocean shore
Flutter near my dove

After midnight, after I'm fed up with your lie
I pack up all my stuff and leave you behind
The bound between us that used to be tight
Now has become so heavy
That it sinks to somewhere I cannot find
And you keep on pretending everything is fine
Keep on blowing your pipe

But I am tired of all this disguise
Because Deep down I know
this gap has gone too wide
I have to give up reaching for the other side

Now, after midnight,
You get down on your knees and cry
Begging me not to resign
From being your wife
I say: Sorry, but I gotta fix up my mind.
