Almost like breaking an embrace,
The wind moves on.
However,

I am thankful for it's blessing.

The clarity it bestowed,

Only muddled visions now.

And the poison is numbing.

The happiness trapped behind a strange glass.
Unobtainable it taunts.

Placing the thoughts,
More doubts,
On the future.

I could never recreate,

A voice of hope rings.
Saying there's beauty,
In the impermanence of it all.

However fleeting it may be.

Pain will never last forever.

The endless adventuring pursuit.

What I thought was a dream.
Revealed itself,
To be more than a nightmare.

Trusted it lied.
Proposing flowers,
More thieves than budding.

I grabbed it.
Even knowing I would bleed,
Underestimating the damage.

Willingly playing the fool,
