and days for sleeping

things turn upside down

We used to talk all night.
And now we barely even look at each other.

I’m addicted to your love
I’m addicted to the pain
I’m hurt and I cope but I don’t know the real thing
I stay cause I’m lost
No value in trash
I’m used and abused
But I haven’t forgotten about you

You were special
Had a way with words
Words ya see get you into trouble
Say the wrong thing and you won't get a text back

i feel like i can’t move
i have no motivation to
so i don’t
but laying in my bed
i also feel so powerful
and like i can change the world
but i can’t
because i’m laying in my bed
lost in my own head

My train of thought fell off the tracks.
I burned that bridge before I even got to it.

Let your word
       Not be wasted
             In the ears of stubborn
      Let your silence
             Silence  the noise
        Of ignorance and negativity.
                      be still
           Is to be at peace with  yourself
                           Know your worth
                                      Trust the process
                                                 Stay in faith
            create the future you ought to have
                                              And where you ought
                                                                ­To be.
