I trace your name in smoke
as my cigarette burns down to
my fingers

I flick ash furiously away from me
because I will not find you
in embers

I miss the way you made my coffee
in the morning
The way you told me it was bad for me
yet you’d still pour

that thick black liquid, into my chipped mug
that I refused to throw away

I hope you find me, here
I am sitting under the stars we named
after each other

I will not move
until I feel your hand slice into mine
and the stars flicker

signalling a new chapter

you don't own the things you know

It started with your smile,
slowly it grew into love.

My clouds parted for you,
the fog lifted for a view,
the sun beamed brighter than
before, the blue sky was bluer
too, it caught your blue eyes
like an ocean surprise.

Sadly, a storm blew in,
it devoured my heart, it
broke the ties that bind
us.

The blue turned gray and
black, the ocean dried up
leaving my heart broken
and cracked.

What's been said has been heard, what's been done has been did. What's been us has been you! 
Blame me and I'll take blame,
Hell! I blame myself too.
We're still apart today,
tomorrow we will be too!
I'll still be okay, or so I say.
I'll still be in pain but that's always been the case.
I cannot Mentally accept the lost love is lost because in my mind it has or never was! I love with all I have and all I got, whether you accept that love or not, I willing cannot shut it off, You are, were, was and still are the one I do, did, want and will still love! Yes you are my dear, you are the one.

If you want something done right, do it yourself
Well that seems very black and white
Yet, I lack any evidence
That I know how to do things right

it wasn't until the sun rose
that I realized
just how much
I was in love with the moon

There are different reasons why you write.
You write because...
...you're happy?
you're sad?
you're delighted?
you're mourning?
keeping a secret?
But whichever reason you have,
you still write what's inside.
What other people can't see,
can't decipher beneath the words you speak,
can't understand the emotions flowing
through the sentences you can't speak out loud.
You write, pouring the feelings you can't let out,
you write. using the words you once thought can't explain what you feel.
You write, thinking that someone out there can finally discern what you're hiding inside.
