See the colours
Vibrant hues
Look into the mirror, it's you
Paintings on the wall
How far did you fall
Before you realized you were changing
And not just rearranging
Welcome back to you
Dancing bright and true
Unhaunted, undaunted
Clear and breaking through
With the spring I've sprung anew
So much I wish I could undo
Somehow I'll let it go
A set of seasons done and gone
And now I'm moving on
I thought
we were once
so close,
knit together
close enough
to know
what's it like,
to be ghost
to each other,
yet wandering
out into our
own colourful
way of life,
just that
we are
chasing
different
colours now.
colours change,
seasons change,
people change,
yet I
remain the same.

Constant

yet, ever-changing.

Just as waves

on the beach;

so are the years

and us.

Bit by bit
I begin
  To understand it

  And piece by piece
I put the puzzle together,
  Ya see?

For each and every
  One of us are blessed
With life
With love
With blood
  With breath

And each and every
  One of us are stressed
With strife
With hate
With disease
  With death

But, nevertheless
We all have our individual
  calling
Yet some are blind
Some are deaf
Some are deceived
  And some are just stalling

All in all -
I find this spiritual plague
  Quite appalling

For each man
And each woman
Is quite aware
  Of God's longing
His plea
His cry
His desire
  His yearning

For His heart for you
  Is quite passionately burning

Therefore, each and every
One needs to let down their
Guards and open their hearts
Open their ears
Their mind
Their soul
And Their eyes

And submit themselves to the LORD
His plea
His desire
His longing
  His cries

And that's how ALL of us
  Should live our lives
Before we fall
Before we fail
Before we're deceived
  And before we die

This Is the plea
Of a lonely old man -
  This is his cry
At the end of the day
  I just had to try
Now I bid you farewell,
My good friends
  Now it's time for goodbye

Signed,
A lonely old man
Something I came up with while thinking about stuff on the porch.

Sometimes everything is okay
Othertimes the world eats you up.
The turbulance of flying
The rough waves on an angry sea

Life.

An ever moving unpredictable thing.
Somedays you feel like a new person.
The sun makes you smile on the coldest of days.
Sometimes you don't know why you bother.

The funniest joke won't make you smile.
God why is there more downs than ups.
Why can't we be more content with this amazing life we have.
The feeling of so much love with out the means or words to show it.
How can love be so restricting.
If we could only express ourselves better.

But how...

To November,
Thanks a bunch
for reminding us,
that the letting go
is the only way to make roads
for new blooms!

Every November I felt something new. November is full of change, nothing remains the same as before!

Acceptance: Somewhere in the month of November, I met a new person who changed me inside out..!! Embraced me with love, gave the warmth in those chilly days. We spent moments with happiness and shared our fears in the night sky, witnessing clouds uncovering the moon. Dreamt of good things, peace, and a bucket full of love. And November turned out as a happy month to me! No matter how much I tried but memories kept coming back, making me blush every single time..!!

Togetherness: Time passed really very fast, Again November came! I remember, spending days like never, contemplating each other’s hearts. Aimless drives, messed up schedules, movie marathons, street foods, and open bottles of beers. I found a home in him, a home of love with no limits and no worries. We promised to step together, holding hands in November, and to hang out till the November dissolves! And yesss we did...few Happy Novembers!

Separation: And then a few years later a day in November came with lots of new feelings..! Feeling of abandonment and betrayal just like dull and dark days. Crying in freezing night under that large yellow full moon but this time all alone! It felt cold, even the stars were extra cold to me; lights were so dim that paths were invisible. My heart was aching, and my trust was dissolved. I was miserable and pitiful! Always lost and struggling in the memories of past and present!

Learning: And now it’s again November I see blooming flowers and sometimes butterflies..! Red, Pale, Blue, Pink and White flowers. And it doesn’t feel like cold/dry or happy month to me!  and as I see he got engaged so, probably a month for him too!  Now I see November as the month of change and new hopes. This November taught me no matter how dry the weather is but you have to keep blooming, And I have realized that not everything is worthy of you! If something feels like a burden to you, just remove them and make some space for new dreams. And that’s the only way!!
I don't know why everything had happened to me in November only, whether it's good or bad but the only common thing is November Month.

There’s tidiness here
And a full dream ahead
Pencil and paper set out
As soldiers wait to die

There’s sadness here
And some words of sorrow
Songs allowed to cry
Tears allowed to fall

There’s humour here
And laughter in my pen
Jokes brewing happily
Smiles served for all

There’s anger here
And a list of needs
Names and faces known
Rights to claim again

There’s true love here
And sweet ambition
Sun and eyes and skin
Ready for kissing
I set out to keep this simple and sincere.  Enjoy.

Day by day
everything is the same
but everything has changed
In a flick of time
everything is translated
A year turning into
a new lifestyle
everything is changing
I can't see it now.

Autumn wants attention today
as she tosses leaves
into cool, crisp air

Autumn wants attention today
as my flip flops are thrown
off my porch
into a pile of crunchy leaves

There is a chill
It makes me awake, more prescient

There is a chill
Have I prepared?

Autumn wants attention today
as she tosses what's no longer needed aside
