A little kingdom I possess
where thoughts and feelings dwell,
And very hard I find the task
of governing it well;
For passion tempts and troubles me,
A wayward will misleads,
And selfishness its shadow casts
On all my words and deeds.

How can I learn to rule myself,
to be the child I should,
Honest and brave, nor ever tire
Of trying to be good?
How can I keep a sunny soul
To shine along life's way?
How can I tune my little heart
To sweetly sing all day?

Dear Father, help me with the love
that casteth out my fear;
Teach me to lean on thee, and feel
That thou art very near,
That no temptation is unseen
No childish grief too small,
Since thou, with patience infinite,
Doth soothe and comfort all.

I do not ask for any crown
But that which all may win
Nor seek to conquer any world
Except the one within.
Be thou my guide until I find,
Led by a tender hand,
Thy happy kingdom in myself
And dare to take command.

within the confines of defining
definitions are never lost
it's set in stone, there's no combining
it's a line that you can't cross

throw away your dictionary

it's your thoughts they are confining
like a self discovery loss
it's your mind, but they're assigning
another line that you can't cross
i wish
i were as brave as the rain
because
they are not afraid to
fall

when there is no one there to catch them...

they are the strongest, bravest and
saddest things I've known :(

PS:
-the thought "the rain are not afraid to fall" were not from me . :)
dreams are meant for sleeping
and you are my dream, darling
so i want to sleep tight
to reach you out tonight*

©IGMS
maybe i could only be able to reach you
through this endless daydreaming

let's not talk about the past
the past is where the future starts
forever let it be severed
like a new day in our hearts

we equate material with pleasure
that's not clever on our part
i believe the greatest treasure
our lives, our dreams, our art

we could change this world forever
together we fall apart
they say never say never
too bad that's never in our hearts
I've been looking for you all around

I can't find you in old photographs
And sometimes I can't reach you by phone
But when I look in the mirror and see my smile

*I know I've found you

I was your chapter,
While you were my book.
Your love took me by surprise,
Like a fish catching bait on a hook.
I was your game,
While you quickly turned into my life.
I was a carefree gypsy,
Loving you with all my might.
The love you had for me was artificial.
I was just the void to fill your time.
It was never your intention to keep me,
You didn't need a partner in crime.
I was the joke,
While you were my heart.
I loved you so deeply,
Maybe that was my mistake from the start.
