Sixth grade summer we promised to never change,
Everyone kept saying we would drift apart,
But we refused to believe them,
It hit me right in the heart,
When I realized we'd lied,
I sat there thinking about the past,
And then I just cried.

maybe if we could
let this go
we'd be fine

12:37 AM
do you ever wake up wondering whether the stars watch us

12:37 AM
like reverse stargazing

12:37 AM
do you think they see us like we see them or

12:38 AM
are we more familiar to them

12:38 AM
than the other way around

2:49 AM
hey you know what

2:49 AM
i think we're not so differ

2:49 AM
different

2:50 AM
us and the stars

2:52 AM
maybe you can tell me what you think when you meet them

3:17 AM
remember that one time jupiter swung down for the moon?

3:18 AM
i saw no stars that night

5:10 AM
you told me once that i'd forgotten to count the galaxies

5:12 AM
and i told you that

5:12 AM
the night before

5:13 AM
i'd never stopped counting

8:02 PM
don't you ever wonder what it would feel like

8:03 PM
to look down on the earth

8:27 PM
from the milky way?

8:40 PM
*
don't you ever wonder why we never will?
i just really like the idea of the celestial captured in human thoughts

hey, you know that feeling?
the one where you're in love -
sweaty palms and catching breaths
and a world spinning on an axis of one?

yeah.
me neither.

Baby pictures fill the boxes
Such innocent pictures
Swinging on swings
Drinking juice boxes
Smiling
Giggling
Happy
Growing
How can that once joyful mind turn so dark
So violent
If the past repeats itself
I hope it does soon
I would like to be that girl again

High school.
I'll never miss the building.
And I'll only miss a few of the people in it.
To one of those people, if our paths don't cross again before I leave this town in dust.
I wish you best of luck.
Goodbye.

Lately, nostlagia has been invading the air,
everybody is trying to make their "lasts anythings" special
and I'm wishing you were all here to share it.
I spend nights looking at the sky to see if there's a sign of you up there,
asking hoplesly on shooting stars that I can see you again.
God knows you left me too soon.
I just hope, in spite all my mistakes, that I've made you proud too.
To my grandparents days before graduation.

Dear Graduating Class of 2014

Well
This is it
Three more days
And then you're gone
It's your time to leave

So why am I sad?
Why does thinking of this
Bring rainclouds to my eyes?
Why have I dreaded this day all year?

I got a brief taste of this
This
Frenzy
At the last band competition
I remember how much I cried
How much we cried
Back in November
At that last competition
It seemed like it was the end of the world
When, in reality
We all saw each other the very next Monday

But this is different
Last night,
That was the last time
The last time
And I'm going to miss you all
Every. One.
Cause we're family
No matter what happens
How far away you'll move
What college you'll go to
Whether or not you come back to help next year
I'll still love you all the same
Okay I wrote this on May 31st, but was trying to think of something more to add and couldn't.
Regardless, I will miss everyone terribly

Four years have passed and I can say it went by pretty fast.

A final day to look back and know how far you’ve come, maybe just a peek of your success in what you have done.

Now it’s time for your graduation waiting desperately patiently walking down the aisle for your diploma, a symbol of everyday formula.

You already learned the golden rule, ready to use knowledge as your tool.

Now you can be free to set the stage, like a life book for every page.

I can really say I am a proud brother in what you’ve achieved, that you came this far all these years.

There so many careers out there for you to choose, whatever you choose I will be on that path to support you to make your dreams come true.

You completed the beginning of life; you have the intelligence, the will and the power, everything combined and more.

I love you sis in my eyes and heart you’ll always shine!
