Today I cried for the first time in years.
Bawled my eyes out until I ran out of tears.
Every thing wrong in my life has finally caught up to me.
I let it all out, but somehow I still don't feel free.

My mind with my heart lay scattered in pieces,
and I'm reluctant to pick them up.
It's not because I wouldn't love to,
but whats the point? Since I've ran out of glue.

Some nights
Its great to write
Long stories that are bright
Today is not
Tonight is filled
With thoughts that could ****
Hopefully it only lasts until
Tomorrow comes
With rays of sun
To dry up the mud

I walk this gravel road.
All alone, I gaze at the cloudy sky.
Empty is my broken heart.
The cold air engulfs my rosy cheeks.
This world is called
both ugly and beautiful,
but I cannot decide.
For the world is just like me.
Lonely.
Cold.
Despairing.
This is just like me.
The sad part, is that I miss you already. But what's even more sad, is that I can't show it. ~mk

Growing up

When the sun is shining bright
And butterflies fly around,
The birds whistle with delight
And kids roll on the ground,
So innocent and carefree.
But soon when clouds hide the sun's light,
the butterflies go unnoticed,
The bird's sounds unheard,
The kids, grown up,
Get involved in the real world.
Take a look at yourself
You can aspire
Have the fire, passion, and precision
To reach even higher
It is in you
Challenge yourself
Make your world impeccable
Reach for that top shelf

an end

it's been weeks
for these cheeks
marked with tears
as she faces her fears

it's torture
and it has no cure
others say she can't blend
the reason why she wants an end
poem made on a sad sunday night.
