I’m a god
I’m a man
I’m nothing
I’m everything
I’m only,
only the soul
I’m sick
I’m sick and my disease cannot be cured by any modern medicine
only the soul
I’m asleep
I’m asleep and no amount of amphetamine can keep me awake
only the soul
only the silver tongued songs of the soul
sink me down into the depths of eternity
And fulfill me in my dissolution

only the soul
only the infinite unfettered understanding of the soul
brings me back to you
only the soul

I deny this multiplicity of being

And

I invoke the infinite

for I AM

——————————

Call me the soul seeker, the mystic, the mage

I am Brahman, I am creation
I am becoming, I am manifest
I am death
I am nothing
I am all

I strive ever towards death
So I can flow back into life

Charles Bukowski
the women of the past keep
phoning.
there was another yesterday
arrived from out of
state.
she wanted to see
me.
I told her
"no."

I don't want to see
them,
I won't see them.
it would be
awkward
gruesome and
useless.

I know some people who can
watch the same movie
more than
once.

not me.
once I know the
plot
once I know the
ending
whether it's happy or
unhappy or
just plain
dumb,
then

for me
that movie is
finished
forever
and that's why
I refuse
to let
any of my
old movies play
over and over again
for
years.

Life, death and rebirth
The eternal cosmic dance
Day will turn to night

Honor thy self

Fate shall evaporate like the morning dew

Do what thou wilt

watch a useless world devoured by dreams

We are stars burning brightly

Madly creating reality

Athena and Apollo in the flesh

Eris and Eros dancing through starlight eyes

as the universe expands within

slicing raging wings of desire

On blades of will sharpened pure
James Jul 2020
blood flows like dreams
settles a wriggling fate
in fields of grass
evaporating with the morning sun
fulfilled in its creation
fulfilled in its dissolution
formless virtue
the final verse
being folds back to non being
