Guilt's a funny thing
Sometimes you almost forget
Other times, it kills
I have charged myself
Signed and sealed the death warrant
Accepted my fate
And I suspect I'll
Punish myself much longer
Than you will hate me
You can always tell a self destructive writer
By their poetry

Because sometimes they are redundant
And other times they are expressing pain

But they always tell a story of being hurt
And locked into their own head

But this my dear, is why they write
Because the person in their head is trying to get out

Self destructive writers
Are usually dark

But when they are light
They tell you how perfect you are

So that you don't do the same thing
That they did to themselves

Self destructive writers
Don't want you to make their scars
On your arms
To all those out there who are this way, trust  in your loved ones, you will get out of this. Thank you for encouraging other people to be who they are.
I told him I write poetry.
He asked me if I'll write poems about him.
And I said, yes every time you break my heart.
"Well then I'll never break your heart"
That was a promise he never kept.
Love hurts hearts.
Whatever.
You're a stranger
Who are you
Trust you? I haven't a clue
I think l once knew you
In a lifetime where l knew
That maybe l did love you
Now I am, what I never want to be
Reflection of a monster in your eyes I see
Perspective
How do I supposed to tell you that I missed you when you refused to know?
sad relationship friends love miss you I
Lie
You said, "Together forever".

When did forever become so short ?
one bullet to the head
two pills to ingest
three knife stabs to the heart
four steps to the railroad crossing
five cuts in the wrists
six

feet off the ground
