I am as close to death as can be
before the Throne of the Lord
lets me kneel before Him who
ordained that I should live such
a little life.

There will be no tomorrow, no
prayers before sleep tonight.
I am in thrall with my journey's
ending and I wait for the Great
Kindness to take this burden.

I am alone with only tears and
this pen to sign off before you
can call me back.

You would do that, you whose
memory outlasts wars and famine
and the last days of America.
I have touched you in private
places and feel the warmth of
you alive.

I am cold tonight.
I bring memories
to the fire of sighs.

I go tonight to the last
long longitude of my
existence and send
these bones sans

thought

desire

and regret

to your address of sorrow.

The mind ...
a wild garden
where healthy
and unhealthy thoughts
pop up out of nowhere
Discard the weeds
Gather the fruit
and harvest the rewards
of a beautiful mind!

Path

The path ahead is unknown,
but when the path is dark
may a light shine in you.
And when the path diverges
may love be your guide.
And whatever path you choose
may joy follow you!

if you go down forgotten streets
where the lights push the nightmares aside

and travel down
some forgotten dreams
to hear the melody
and are drawn in
by the strumming of guitar strings

and there on the stage
a heart walking a wire
with a sad smile of thunder and rain
that rolls you like tumbling dice

and if you believe in love at first glance
and listen with a young heart
you'll hear the wind and stardust
that she's chasing in her song

Feather

I don't have wings
But I wanna know the feeling when a bird flies.
On the first day of spring ,
I wanna free myself from all the ties.
Migrating from one place to another,
The places I have been having my worn out feather.
My destination is nowhere ,
I just want to explore.
Not interested in knowing anyone,
I wanna know myself little more.
Thinking about bad weather can stop me from flying ,
I trust my feather and I can't stop trying.
One day I will fall and I want to fall like a feather.
Not too early ,
Swinging in the mid air with feathers altogether.
Feather - A poem for a dreamer .
Imagination don't have any flaws.
The ice is falling in torrents
At the viscera boundaries
Cries of the sentinels are roaring
in cacophonies
Pushing survival beyond defeat
To the Lighthouse of honor
Cry hard my heart
Capitulate not
Your hour in priceless gold assured.

Boys and Girls,

If they’re not gracious for that simple feather kiss in the middle of the forehead

They’ll never be appreciative for anything else you have to offer ;)

when time was something that passed

rather than to be grasped
finishing post in sight
chequered flag on the sat nav
telling you you've arrived

when time was acres of summer sunshine

not pollution coated air, holes in the ozone
worrying about global warming
but still building building building
for the future they say....

when time was your own to cherish

not jobs to do meetings to attend
places to visit but not really see
bills to pay questions to answer
a debt to honour for the ever after

when time just existed
it felt like forever
now there's no forever after
