I am stubborn
I will fall countless times but I will rise again,
This time only to stand taller than before.
My pride will carry me forward; my determination will not be lost.
Life may have won the battle, but I will win the war.

~ a poem : part 7
This is an 8 part poem, with a new part added each day. Thank you for reading and feedback is appreciated!
If you're stubborn like me you can relate.
We don't do things like most.
We leave a party afoot and tell no one.
We will walk for miles than to ask for a ride.
We have our own way of doing things.
We're not to be pittied, yet often we are.

If you're full of integrity like I am.
Often our actions are out of principle.
We like to teach lessons.
Even if it means punishing ourselves.
It's how we live our life.
So if you can't relate, just get over it.

Talk to us the way a human should treat another.
Do not offend us by treating us like a sub-society.
Be kind as if we are a stranger.
For treating us like family can often disappoint.
Especially when we're the black sheep.
And you all assume we have no feelings.

Truth is we're more sensitive than most.
We're the poets and artists of our time.
We suffer in silence as well.
Why, we'll never know,
It is, what it is - so treat us with care.
For tomorrow you will miss us.

I was taught that being stubborn
is a virtue that every young boy should have,
that to decide how you govern
your life and your path.

I was taught that being stubborn
is simply a way to be,
that wanting and yearning
provided my journey's fee.

I was taught that being stubborn
was a sign of respect, of pride.
Unlearn all that'd been thought
and learn all from inside.

I was taught that being stubborn
would create a wall around me,
a nocturne of darkness
for which only i could see.

Now i am alone, all stubborn and virtuous
wishing for a chance.
but this disease is cure-less
Through no other circumstance.

I see no benefit
to share my innermost thoughts
with anyone.
*Especially someone
intending to fix me.
You didn't listen.
You didn't learn.
And you wonder
Why they call you stubborn?

You act stupid.
When you're not.
You refuses to adapt.
When you should.
And you wonder
Why they call you stubborn?

You act unreasonable.
Just determine to remain the same.
And because of that you think others to blame.
Only if you agree.
Then you'll see how great things could be.

Except you're stubborn.
Just refuses to change.

Its not that you can't be controlled.
You just use to getting your way.
Except you're spoil.
And strictly stubborn to see.
That you could meet half way with me.

soliana
she gave me her nudes
she was bare
and naked
and so out
and open
and i willingly
accepted it
because it wasnt the nudes
that showed her body
the physical aspects
that made her beautiful
it was the words
she didnt choose
and the spontaneity
that left her
either from her lips
or her fingers
or ink

she was as bare
as her nudes
and i accepted
her for her.

Stabbed by words so deep you sink and drown in your own blood
because you've cried out all of your tears.
Truth so lost almost impossible to be found
Bleeding away your cares
Is this an expression for two?
and when you speak the truth people wonder,
"Am I speaking to the crazy or the sane side of you?"
They say you need help from a professional.
Does this mean that I need to seek help from someone who has experienced my situation
or Some one who is only qualified to deem me insane with their education
Getting payed to pass judgement on my minds creation
Limiting to a life of medication
You're giving people jobs they are not qualified for
So I fake like I take your pills
And walk out the door
No offense but I don't take poison from people who have never been insane before

people always have so much time to judge others

well in my case I don't have enough time to judge myself

feeling jealous of people who had enough time to judge others
