writer's block
will never be a thing
for me
as long as i have words to write
about you

You meet new people
and they fill you
With the feeling of belonging

Realising the fact
It falls easily
That scares me
Scares us

We thought
We could control it
We thought
The powers in our hands

Against the will
Again we hurt ourselves
Wasn't just a cut
Some they swelled

The pain
They're unexplainable
The hurt
They can't be heard

Buried
Deep
In our very soul
Forever

Shining stars
And beautiful scars
That’s all we are

We change and we fall,
We change when it’s fall, brown, red
Crumpled and stepped on.

Poetry

is taking
my pain
and making
it sing.
