The Fire Burns
Lost in a thought,
triggered by a stare,
I look at you,
and sink into a pool of destiny.

Diaphanous gossamer lace,
outlines your margins,
pulling my eyes deeper,
arousing my inquisitive side.

Your pernicious smile,
excites and saddens me,
vexing my ambitions,
and confusing my vivication.

Slowly, it melts into something,
so simmeringly hot,
that there is no question,
that wrappings will be scattered.

The libidinous winds begin to blow,
engrossing and exhausting rapture,
infiltrating gratification,
reaching a zenith of perfection.

The Fire Burns
Days of the new
are one and a few,
while days of yore
will open the door.

The future is built
upon solid stilts,
of the past's foundation,
tested by duration.

Knowledge combined
from yesterday and refined,
with ideas from today
will pave the way.

Never lose sight,
though some might,
of what worked before
to reopen closed doors.

The Fire Burns
Our music is written on the page
in our combined blood,
the contract is sealed.

The angel chorus resonates
in the cockles of our hearts
and in the crevasses of our minds.

Sparking touches,
ignite passion,
singing refrains.

The climb begins,
as does ecstasy,
finale coda.

The Fire Burns
Birth is a guarantee of death,
life is a series of near misses,
and occasional sentinel events,
in the end, we fade to black.

The flower's colored blooms,
wilt to brown and fall away,
turn to dust in the wind,
just as youth is over in an eye-blink.

Dark spots and waning sight,
the music sounds turns
to black notes on a white page,
that simply turns to fuzz, then nothing.

All that is or ever was you,
returns from whence it came,
cosmic matter scattered,
as in the big bang.

Tyler Matthew
It seems to me
most poetry
is nothing but
a clever title.
Most poems lack
that special knack
that readers
find so vital.

Recycling words
we all have heard
makes for a
dull affair,
so pay your dues
to the muse
and write
something rare.

Love is complicated
Love requires patience
Love requires tolerance
Love require  honesty
Love requires sacrifices
Love comes with trials
Love comes unexpectedly
It is involuntary
Love hits us like a ton of brick
It cause us to lose control
It cause us to do strange things
It cause us to constantly be around someone
Constantly think of someone
Love make us understand someone
Love gives us hope
Love give us courage
Love make us happy
Love makes us strong
Love makes us weak
Love makes us confused
Love makes us complete
Love is everything.
We, are created to fall in love.
Nothing like a cup of coffee to cure your ills
Tired?
Coffee will do the trick
Stressed?
Grab a brew and you'll loosen up, you old stiff.
None of that cheap ****
A slow roast blend from the third world
will do.

Milk?
No, pure.
Sugar?
NO! Pure.
Filter?
No, drip only.

I want every morsel of flavour.
Ever drop from those mud coloured grind granules.
Every little pitter patter
Of brown bitter splatter.
So strong to leave a man wired
Awake?
So Awake ; prepared.
Alive?
So Alive to my surroundings;  aware.

Oh, there come those jitters;
perfect,
To be nothing less than scared.
God ******, I said no filter!
I promise you
it'll tastes better

Hey buddy, I'm at the centre
Tired of your gimmicks
Frappa-this
Cappu-that
I'm not a fan of that mocha crap
For I am a purist, through and through.

Therefore, hand what I demand,
Said dark waters
With heat of Hades
Please, i must, before i falter
SAVE ME! i FEEL THE SIGNS!

Oh gosh, we're fresh out of coffee.

**** it, well, I guess a tea should be fine!
