in every language
there's an "i"
a "love"
and a "you"

in french it's "je t'aime"
in spanish it's "te amo"

but the day
you said
"i love you"
it wasn't spoken in english
neither french nor spanish

it was spoken in the way
you kissed my lips afterwards
and in the way
you entwined our fingers
on cold, winter days
and in the way
you broke the ice
by saying a cheesy pick-up line
you knew
would make
me laugh

you spoke not with words,
but with actions
and that's all
i could ever ask for

They both met in high school
Fell in love like a struck fool
Knew right away this was the one

From the very start
They melded each others heart
Yes, you can say it's true love

So after graduation
No need for explanation
Made plans to be together for life

They set to marry
In late February
Until that rainy evening on that fateful night

Now she places wooden crosses
On the highway losses
Of those that never made it back home

Mothers and Fathers
Brothers and Daughters
Who've lost out on love like her own

Which is the reason this quest
The center of her loneliness
Thinking back to what she almost had

When they both slipped from her hands
Her love and her life plans
Where irony is all she has left

If she could turn back the clock
To all that she's lost
Would it make a difference in where she is today

Being the same girl
In that same shattered world
Where he still holds the heart that she gave away

As she places wooden crosses
On the highway of losses
Of those that never made it back home

Mothers and Fathers
Brothers and Daughters
Who've lost out on love like her own

«Your life was offered to you;
There is no greater gift.

Forget the gold, forget the time,
from life such things are born.

But,
if your eyes were meant to change the world,
know this:

The moment is now.»

Rare but Relevant
I try writing your name
I try to write it on paper,
But now that paper is missing.

I was told to never give up
So then I wrote it in the sand,
But not just any sand
It was sand that stood by the waves of my heart
I thought it would stay there forever
Then suddenly it got washed away

I had tried twice and lost both times,
But the third time is a charm
I wrote your name in my heart,
But not by the ocean shore of my heart
I wrote it right in the middle and till this day it stays there with all your love

The Anonymous Joker
The waves reach out on the shores
of everlasting peace

and solitude

Trees hang plentiful
the sky overcast with green-blue tones

the sun shines down
warm
sweet breeze whispering secrets
to the canopy

a slight sound accompanies
with its slow hissing sound

the ship burns slow, large, majestic
towering
on the horizon miles away

the ship lies broken driftwood
Breaking down
Medley of browns
greens
and
Crimson Reds

Wet, shredded, decayed

washing up on the shore
Different from the usual.
Do let me know what you think.

Forget what you know,

Free your mind of all existing teachings & memories,

Think of all of the things that you've been too scared to think of or to say out loud,

Now refer back to those thoughts as you think of this idea:

What if,

The world is simply your heart,

&

The things that can break your heart are the things that are also keeping it alive,

Oxygen & other human beings.

Now what if I told you that the world only needed 3 things to survive:
Oxygen,
Water,
&
Your heart.

Now believe that.
Take it into full consideration of those things.

The world is now closing in, just like your heart was that night he (for some reason) never picked you up from your house & never again answered any of your phone calls.

Ask yourself what you did after that night that kept you alive on this earth.

I mean, all odds were against you.

Everyone expected you to close in from the lack of oxygen the bonsai tree on your desk was giving you & from all the non-existent human interaction that you were getting, that only he used to provide for you.

But you realize that you are still here.
Just like the earth.
With a fully mended heart,
With ribs that are filled to the brim with air,
& a smile that could **** the bacteria that has been fondling your thoughts for the last 8 months or so.

I'm not trying to state the obvious fact that "life goes on, so don't give up."

No.

I'm trying to say that even when all the oxygen in the earth is evaporating to nothing,
&
the water has turned into oceans of tears,
&
your heart is filled with the fear of never feeling back to full normality ever again;
The world still spins, because it knows that because of the continuation of it's rotation, it makes the humans that inhabit it, live on happily,
even if the world knows that it itself cannot;
&
The same goes for you my dear;
Even after your ribs get rusty,
&
Your eyes become a desert,
&
Your heart turns into a metaphor for death;
Everyone needs you to keep on spinning,
for them;
even when you feel like you yourself cannot.

In conclusion, my point is:
For the sake of humanity,
Don't give up.

O Lord Jesus,  you are the beginning and end.
You have map out each of our lives completely.
For you know our every move before we do them.
You whom walk on water while you lived on the earth.
You O Lord whom spoke everything into existence
You whom was born , so that you could give your life.
On the cross that you could take our sins upon you.
Then raise up again back to life, so that we can be rescued.
From a life that is destine for eternal damnation away from you.
