Set adrift on the rivers of wind,
to course through empty gravity
while drawing in flames like moths.

We touch down—- not with a bang.
But with negative.
Lack of sight, mind, and everything in between.

I pry eyes from my future scars, lit up with pain.
The sun blinds me while I lay on my back
only to see vision digressing into millions of stars.

He spoke to me as if an angel.
Not a single limb left to count on,
but still secured to the newly vermillion seat.

“Fear can’t hurt you
any more than this dream,” he said—
voice seeping through the nightmare.

He dripped.
Along with the will from his eyes,
before his body hit the ceiling.

And with him, down fall sanity.
Not to be confused with humanity—
the greatest temptress of them all.
School project number six million **** I’d love some pointers I’m tryna get that 4.0

Death in the sky

Crash and burn like falling fireflies;
From the skies come a sign to die, a lightning strike.
It scares the children up here in the plane, oh no!
But we know it can’t hurt us.  Or can it?  I don’t know.

It crashes against us and lights up our night;
It causes panic, it causes fright.
It causes the plane to shake, just turbulence they say;
But we don’t believe their stay calm warning, this is our judgment day.

The end of our world, we are falling through the sky;
I don’t want to die please; I want to learn to fly.
I want to live forever; it can’t be my time already.
I haven’t learned how to live life yet, I’m still not ready.

Ascend into Heaven, screaming in the wind;
It is your time to go stand with your King.

i hope that when i die,
you're out there laughing
somewhere a thousand miles away from me
and that the air is fresh like the scent of wildflowers
with a chorus of songs playing from all the birds in the trees

i hope i die while you're reading your favorite book, during the part you always used to get so excited to quote
and that the light is just right
so it doesn't strain your eyes
in a place that is not too silent,
but quiet enough to enjoy the sound of each page as it turns

i hope i die in a plane crash
as it spirals from the sky to the sea
because flying and drowning are the two things i fear more than anything
i hope it makes a sound loud enough that you can hear it in the
distance, just enough to make you look up
but not enough to tear you away from your activities

i hope when i die,
i die slowly
so i have enough time to enjoy the pain, and recapture every moment in my brain
that involved you
