Simple things in Life seems complicated
Brains busy mapping the branching logic
Trying out every possible options
Getting lost in the labyrinth of paths
Losing out on the options given by Life

On the one hand
I want to be there
The friend you'll always need
On the other
I want to be there
With you holding me
I want the world to take a pause
To stop and give us time
A chance for both our hearts to beat
Together, rhythm and rhyme
I want us to conquer
The fears and doubts we hold
I want us to love like champions
Instead of doing what we're told
Lets forget the ones who think
We'll never make it through
Lets try to throw the past away
So it's only me and you

Two lefts don’t make a right.
But I make use of this.
I want to make the left left choice,
Find the left left word.
Because this left left word
Is the opposite of the “right” word.
It does in the opposite direction,
Forges its own stream.
And this is the left left choice.
This is my way.

You,
Or you,
Or you, or you.
But wait--you're far away too.

It's like being in a zoo,
Where "no touching" is something I'll always rue.
