His skin glows with warmth

The sun trapped just beneath the surface

His eyes ablaze with love

His stride filled with purpose.
I’m very blessed to be in such a happy, healthy relationship now. Nearly 2 years. ♥️

Fly
in this uncertainty
you will always find continuity
sometimes real absurdity
will make you see resiliency
will make you value sincerity
treasure honesty
but still remains the integrity
you are you
you are true
you are not a fool
you will always stay cool
in the midst of this imparity
you will always see clarity
and that will stay in your
individuality
rarity
purity
because this is not fantasy
you are a reality

I was loved
When I was young and free

I was loved
When my hair caught the breeze

I was loved
When the willows would sing for me

Then

            it

                    stopped.

I am not loved
Because I love myself

I am not loved
Because their hair doesn't catch the breeze

I am not loved
Because the willows only sing for me.

I am hated for
my differences.

All of you precious people,
all you precious men and women:
do not fret or fear,
you are never alone.
Just as I am here,
someone is there.
Someone exists
to repair your breaking soul,
and help you rebuild yourself whole.

No matter who you are,
someone out there loves you.
You may not think this true,
so then keep living
and prove me wrong.
You'll realize I'm right before long.
For all those people who really need it. I wrote this with two people in mind. One of them is you, M. You know who you are. If you read this, please don't do anything rash.

I am more than just my body
Or numbers on a scale
I am more than those grades
That say I pass or fail
I am more than just my body
Not a meaningless piece of flesh
I am more to this world
But am judged none the less
I am more than just my body
I have a mind and a soul;
A heart that can be broken or made whole
I am more than just my body
Not an object for your use,
Your jeers, taunts and verbal abuse
I am more than just my body
Not a toy meant to amuse
I am more than just my body
My face or my size
More than a conquest or a prize
I am more than just my body
I love myself for the person in which I grew
And here's a secret,
I am more than just my body
And so are you.
