We wake up most mornings with a sigh
Wanting a few more hours to lie
And get at least another hour of sleep.
In this thought we get in so deep

We begin the day with a smile accepting life as it comes
Overcoming struggles in all its form
But often forget to say our prayers
And forget to thank God for helping in all areas

In humans, four of every five
Keeps breathing but they're not alive
Living everyday wIthout having something to run after
Living life like an aimless drifter

Pictures don't ever change, just the people inside of them do
Whoever told you life would be easy, I promise was lieing to you.
Life remains the same, only situations change
Only God helps make them less hard and led strange
When you start to feel hapless,
This feeling that you are hopeless
Just making you feel the emptiness
That chains the heart and makes you feel helpless

Don't let that feeling mislead you anymore
Just acquire what the soul is crying out for
Hi back and unite with your maker
The one the soul calls father
Everyone needs to know when they no longer live in the presence of there God and when to run back to Him

She held my hands in prayer
Together we meditated on our future
I loved her like Christ loved gentiles
In faith we prayed in faith we loved
Together we grew, together we loved
I loved her faith more than I loved her
She loved my faith more than she loved me
In God we loved
In faith we loved

When there's a will
there is a way
Don't be confuse
it's all in the brain
No, you're not insane!
just keep going...
your life is at stake.

You ask yourself if it's safe
to go through tomorrow
without having any regret
or sorrow...
we should hope for the best
because if you reap
you will sow
and like a plant
you will grow.

How can we go on?
As the flames burn our confidence
and strip away our happiness
its our job to fight through it!
if the devil took our prize pocessions
shouldn't we make our way to go retrieve it?
And if God says he'll make a way
for all your circumtances
to fade away,
shouldn't we give him more chances
than the one's that failed
to keep our promises
that was made?

There is no curse or spell
to prevent our way of living
if we live through this
our problems will be less deceving
As we can all tell
because nobody
should go through
hell.
I'm back from my uneased mind. ;-)
I learned from my mother
And my youngest aunt
That I didn't want to be
A teenage mother
I learned from another aunt
That love is always a battle
And I have to decide if its worth the fight
(Which I believe it is)
I learned from my other aunt
That anger only locks you up
And once in it's hard to get out
I learned from my step mother that
Endurance goes so far
I learned from my grandmother
That putting *****
In your orange juice
Is not a good start to any day
I learned from my cousin
That care is in our hearts
And if you lack empathy
You may leave your soul behind
I learned from my great aunt
That kindness and helping people
Is good for the soul
I learned from my great uncle
That just because you have a lot of things
Doesn't mean you have everything
Lastly, I learned from my father
That love grows in all the little things,
All the small words or actions
And that without those
We cannot grow love.
They taught me with their mistakes and their good intentions, they taught me with absences and their presence. Through my life they will be my family despite our differences and the fact that at one point or another we detest each other. I've grown up in a tornado of a family but it's a testament to our strength that we're still standing. Also love is important and they taught me that and it's that lesson that I found him and we fell in love...Nothing comes easy but love will always be worth fighting for.
