Its been months since i felt your touch
But it really feels like it was only yesterday.
I remember the way you stared into my eyes
And the way you whispered

"Goodbye"
Jayantee Khare Sep 2017
Peace everywhere
Tough time is passed
Smooth are the roads
All hurdles crossed

Happy in her world
Living in the now
Enjoying the life fully
Moved on somehow

The loved ones surround
Everything is a bliss
Nothing seems wrong
But something is amiss

Music and dance
Heartily she revels
The strings entangled
Yet she unravels

Fights in the mind
With her own devils
Back and forth the lanes
"The mind travels"
Today wrote another poem
At the same corner
Of the celebration
On the same theme
Little positive today!

Yes I am now walking away.
Because so far all I can hear is a "No".
Felt you're scared of something which didn't exist at the first place.
Is it the fear of commitment?
Or you're just......
Let's face it, playing.
I have thought of it.
The words you have said before
Were they true? Or just?

But I'm now walking away with a smile on my face.
AWAY FROM MY OWN MADE CAGE.

"bandage your heart

    whats gone is gone

    heal your pain

    find a substitute . . . "

                                                 I say to me . . .

The cold of winters day
Was colder when you went away
I feel the pain that you gave
To keep love I want to save

the bright moon shining in the sky of dark blue
unforgettable, starless nights I once had with you
the times when you'd say "forever and always" to me
are just now words that are part of my twisted memory

I truly miss the way you smile
It makes me stand still for a while
the times with you were endless and grand
But alas it was blown away like sand

The hardest thing I can do
Was to say goodbye to you
Well now that you're gone
It's time for me to move on

I can live without you now
So why don't you take a bow
Now that we have grown apart
I now say goodbye. the art of my heart.
