there was never a time I wasn’t faking it
sipping on lies like wine and always wanting more
I can’t remember not being thirsty

with liquor, my words run rampant
they slip from my tongue so easily and dance in the streets
they’re willing to burn down cities
they’re willing to cut throats
they’re willing to ruin anything good
another reason I stopped drinking-- I can’t keep feeding myself frenzies
i give up good, i give up so ******* good
so many people
write about love with
*****
whiskey
a joint
a crutch

i don't have a crutch
and i don't have a crush
and two negatives equal a positive
so what does this poem even mean?

I ain't no maybe girl
so don't be puttin' me on no back burner
I ain't no maybe girl
so don't put me in your phone and not call my number
if I'm second choice
I won't be a choice
you probably hate that I have a voice
and you think my *** is fly
but only half the time
I ain't no *******
so grow some *****
even if your **** is small
and if you want to get in my pants
but not take me out
I'll punch you out
and don't send me drunk texts
in the middle of the night
lookin' to **** or get in a fight
I ain't no maybe girl
so don't be puttin' me on no back burner
I ain't no maybe girl
so don't put me in your phone and not call my number
I wrote this as a joke after spending an evening at my local dive bar.
