Fat waves roll across my painted toes
You hand holds my waist
Staring into the deep sea
I cling to you
My beauty,
My savior,
Your breath mingles with mine
Salty air ***** between parted lips
You warm touch lingers on my winded-beaten cheeks
Sweet-smell of hair pressed against my neck

All these moments
These longing for the times
Feel new soft cotton against my skin
Old cashmere jumper warm against your  chest
All these things I desire yet never have experienced
I just wish for a love that I can hold close
On these summer Ohope nights
With pohutukawa petals drifting across our bed
And the Maunganui mountains cupping us dear
And your warmth holding me
Until bright New Zealand morning.

All in good time,
Cupid says
All in good time.

For a moment in time
we heard the same song

Magic and music
dancing in the air

For one magical moment
we shared a beautiful song
2/2/2014
Watching a seagull floating lazily
Through an invisible blue ocean
Effortlessly soaring on invisible waves
Course dictated by winds currents
Piercing eyes watching, senses alert
Casting a moving shadow, cross the deep
Tracking a path none knows
Swooping, surfing ocean’s rollers
Wingtips gently kissing wave peaks.
Beautiful bird in flight, a nuisance  around fish and chips ....

i do not understand
why you only see your flaws
when you are so wonderful in my eyes
i watch you perform
i watch your eyes light up
and i see the smile on your face that is rare these days
you may think you aren't good enough
but if you could only see how wonderful you are
how you continue to inspire me and all of us
how much envy i hold when i see your talents
i wish i had your confidence
and the ability to do what you do
i hope one day you realize the wonderful things that you do
are not just for others
but for you
a poem for a friend
I was down to my knees
Hands up and a gun to my head
They kept pulling the trigger
Bang Bang I was supposed to be death
Hell I even started to think
To pull the trigger myself so it could end
But I survived the struggle
And I wasn't about to bend
Anymore
Than I already did
I was down to my knees
Just when I thought hell ****
NO
I got to get back on my feet
I' ve got to fight back and stand tall
I am that unwritten book nobody will read
Unless I start to get back on my writing
chair
You know life ain' t always going to be
A freaking **** fantasyfair
So yes I was down to my knees
But I started to fight back
I crawled out of the valley directly up on the hill
On top of it I screamed ,,Hell I'm back''
I screamed ,,Hello world this is me''
Yes it's not what you see
Ok I am size ''A little more''
Please dear world can I get an encore
I'm still happy I still live with joy
Alltough I wasn't that kind of boy
Now I am I am that kind of man
And there is really nothing you can
Nothing you can do anymore
To make my heart feel numb
And my head feel sour
I decided to live my life the way I want it to live
And I decided that I want to give
That I want to give and pass this feeling on
To my unborn daughter and unborn son
I am going to give this feeling to everybody who deserves it
Everybody who's feeling like ****
If you are too fat or you are too skinny
If you are too ugly or you are too pretty
If you are too gay or you are too straight
For equality I will start a public debate
I'll give equal rights to the white and black sheep
A promise I will intend to keep
Now dry all your invisible tears
And we'll fight all our darkest fears
Together we will start the fight
And we will fight side by side
Today we will stop the invisible tears we cry
So our smiles won't have to keep up the lie
We will rise like a phoenix
Start a history remix
People will remember our generation
As an solution instead of a mathematic eqaution
People will know our names like they know King, Ghandi and Mandela
This will be the start of a whole new era
Now everybody who's down to their knees
Stand up, stand tall and fight with me please
Spread our words around the globe
Spread our words of peace and hope
Together we will be strong
And nobody can do us wrong
Everybody will follow their dreams
So again by all means
Get out of the valley up to the hill
At least I know I will
I'm finally standing, screaming on my Georgian red hill

Paradise
A lonely place
Inhabited by few

As much as is a perfect space
A location with a view
Paradise is found within yourself
Or even in another
Paradise is more than most,
A moment found with few.

Paradise is here
Paradise is there
Paradise is me when all the lights are
Faded glare
Paradise is the shaking in your limbs
When you've found your own release
Paradise is the tightening of pupils
When they rest upon their love
Paradise is the feeling inside
The impenetrable barrier
Between you and the rest
Paradise is all I have inside me
Paradise is my best.

There's no people around now, just us
no hustle or bustle
no rushing feet of frantic commuters
just us down here, the clean up crews

All the escalators are turned off
so we have to walk all the way down
the lights are always kept on
down here in the underground

No trains now are shooting by
not on the early morning night shift
just me and the morning crews
cleaning up the tunnels and tracks

It get's pretty eerie down here
sometimes you think you hear voices
but usually it's just the rats down here
fighting mating or just squeaking

The air in the tunnels is rather stagnate and stale
in some parts water seeps in for a little while
and what you find on the tracks can be a bizarre list
you never know what you will come across on the night shift

I wish I had the imagination of Kurt Vonnegut
So that I could travel through time on my own
And so I could accept death
And so I could accept that not one thing can be changed at all
