PEACE DREAM

From childhood you're told not to be odd,
But to be even,
And always have hope,
Something to believe in,

Being different was a fear,
From childhood itself,
That if they get you tears,
You try to change yourself,

But we should primarily know,
That worth is not cash or gold ,
Nor color it is that defines worth,
But the human heart is so much worth,

Let's together try and get back peace,
To one day see all prisoners release,
In love and unity we all will believe,
Together we are, together we conceive.

Put down your swords,
Put down your guns,
Bring me a pen and let me write,
A piece contract a flag coloured white,

For all humans to sign and stamp,
We will walk together  hands in hands,
In darkness we will be the shining lamp,
Breaking down borders between the lands,

One day this Dream will be true,
And to that we believe and hope.

How can they say America is united?
When in truth she is divided into so
many sides so many lines drawn into the sand
Rich vs poor
Republican vs Democrate
White vs black
What ever happened to the American dream?
But then again America was built on division.

Secrets are like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered
Like dead dreams being tucked away
Like the forbidden fruit waiting to be plucked
Like ugliness masked with beauty
Like deception shrouded in sincerity.

Doctor please,
Crack open my rib cage
and let the light seep in.
Take this monster out of me.
Scrape it off my bones
and tear it out,
I can feel it growing larger
with every breath I take.
Doctor please,
this is killing me.
