Truth,
What happened?
When did you die?
A martyr,
Left behind,
To rot.
No praise.

Loyalty,
Where have you gone?
Dead as well?
A martyr,
No remebrance,
Dead forever.

Love, love!
I haven't seen you
Did you crumble?
Not dead,
But dying.

In a world where
Abstract hospitals
Don't exist.
And respect for
The dead.
Has died with them.

Dear Madam Sabrina,

The lonely beach shores, I walk
Tossing seashells of affection in remebrance of you
A pursued love interest that is overwhelm
Overflowed by tears I attempted to hold back
Slithering ghostly as we never embrace
A tender kiss, ponders across the bay
Given a mysterious essence
We are lost
In an oceanview desire
Recollecting inner thoughts about another
A woman I found,but an achor
Abreast from you
Rejection is a raging wave that conquerors
My ability to forget you
A stranger to calm sea
Can float away
From peaceful shores
Of love

Yours truly,
A man without dignity

Remembrance
by Michael R. Burch

Remembrance like a river rises;
the rain of recollection falls;
vague memories, like vines, entangled,
cling to Time's collapsing walls.

The past is like a distant mist,
the future like a far-off haze,
the present half-distinct an hour
before it blurs with unseen days.

the ring that ruled
before dawn and day,
o'er summer & an old sun
with its shafts of remebrance;

shall it remain in middle-earth
and the Dark Lord will feed upon all that is green;
shall it become fire from the mountain
and fair lairs will tremble with the wind of age.

but what is to be must be;
all we have left is what we always had:
the power of a single day that is given to us -
one road to fulfill, to live, and to love.

REMMBRANCE

There are shapes remebrance takes,
sometimes starlit sharpness, each spark
a scattered bit of self, sometimes the muddy
ground of grief.Remembrance, an imaginary book,
words of a separate world.

Often, there is travel through dark matter
to reach a breeze of willow leaves on water.
Perhaps a day with its own pastel shade
or a gentle night of ringing quietness,
a dove nested in the eaves of wind.

In dark and brightness, both anonymous,
nothing is sure but the narrow path
leading to a new now, guided by
the unseen force of soon.

I've tried to be nice
To those who don't care
I've tried to be sincere
To those who share my hatred
I've tried to forget you
But my feelings prevent it
If only there was a way
That they would permit it
Let me out of this cage
You've entrapped me in
Before my rage overwelms
My will power
To withhold me on this stage
Which you chose to reel me in
Making me love you
As much as I do
When you left me
It dug a hole
In my heart six inches deep
Now when I hear your name
I just close my eyes in remebrance
Of what could have been
I flash back to the good times
When we would get along
Share our laughs
In a way it's good
Now I don't spend My evey waking hours
Thinking about you
How you ruled my life
Giving me your devotion
When you left me
There was a pang of grief
In my heart
That was so excruciating
A pain so inadvertent
You made me want to give up
When you left me
I felt as if the world meant nothing
As if it was turned upside down
Nothing in the world matters
When you was here
I felt importance
No one else matters
It's unexplainable though
Now I have no one else to turn to
Who would be there for me
Through thick and thin
All the way to the end
To cheer me up everyday
Make me laugh as hard as you do
In the end
I blame myself
For falling for you
Without you I feel empty
All I saw was you
Day in and day out
If only
I could easily forget you
I wonder if I could erase it from my memory
Even though subliminally
I'd want you to stay dwelled
In the history of my life
Only because when I think of you
I smile
When you left me
All I could think about
Was how much I want you back
What I would do to
Engulf you with the warmth of my arms
When you left me
All I could do is think
It's my fault
Rid me of my grievance
All I do is miss you
When you left me
All I did was break down
Please love
Come back to me
Raindrops like Tears
I have placed my burning lamp in the the window
Where rain drops are coming down like tears
I have to plce my sheer pain to just in a row to flow
Alongwith all my disappointments and dispairs
My love I do remember when you left me alone
And then never ever looked back to ask about me
On a dark night amidst rain drops in painful tone
I do realise this world is a test and trial and to be
But still I place my lamp in a rain as remebrance
That one day you may come back in a real disgust
Please do not forget that still I have dependence
Iam always in front to confunt my my love in trust

Sacred vows
Now cheap obligation
Promises and ringed forgiveness
Say it back with some conviction
Speak up, girl
Use your diction
The priest is waiting for your decision
Staring at the man parallel
To spend a life with through insanity and hell
Now you see his intentions are well
Fight the urge for flight
But finding courage from the hits taken last night
Foggy trails of wedded delight
Masking the fumes of foreboding night
Snowstorm omens await your matrimony
Making it known that it's not just for now it will be stormy
Crack the glass
Tip the bottle
Dance our dance
Two steps back
We had the strength to move further from that
We dance right through our holy pact
Now that all our time has lapsed
The last grain of truth fell through the hourglass
Cleaning up and looking back
Memoirs of our wedding trash
Throw it out
It was a memory passed
One day that we forgave the past
Kissed so true
Hands tightly clasped
Man and wife
Became monster and *****
Too proud to say we would ever take it back
Too hateful to assure it was worth the blast
Too kind to pull the trigger too fast
Shotgun wedding without the ***** filled sack
Praying for it to never come to that
Make an honest woman of me at last
At least we don't have to disappoint
Everyone assumed where this was going
Trace our steps back to the alter
Take back our words
Reverse the legality on paper
Pull off rings and our fake tremors
Replace it with who we really were to begin with
Shape and create a ending with splendor
Finish the way we started
I'm game for either
Get a reaction
No such luck
I went crazy on your behalf before
This final indenture
I don't owe you a pound of flesh
You had my mind
When I thought I had lost it
Keeping it locked and hidden in a box marked lovers
And now you show it back all tattered
The wrinkles once healthy
Now sag with bitter remebrance
And grey with genuine attempts and constant failures
You saw potential
You declared a ways back
A molding I tried to pour myself in
But instead it cracked
All you see now is what I lack
No purpose
No sense
No redeeming countenance
Just a used up waste of penitence
Apologies and sincere regret
What the **** would you do with that?
Each promise broken
Moved up two steps back
Go figure we moved behind
Instead of progressing forward on this track
It's not a race
And in our disgrace
We both lost ourselves
Before we stepped on the starting place

Cabin by the sea
Near the view for the perfect sunset..
We even built a fire bit on the beach
Perfect place for us star gazers;
Where we can sit together.
smoke a spliff as we gaze
upon the horizon.

We can do this over and over again.
Relive the beauty of sands of time..
Locked away in an hourglass
Ticking for its time to be turned;
round upside down
In remebrance of mother natures law
As above, so below.

So here we go,
Repeating the same quantum pattern.
Stuck on replay
Passing the phase
To move forward towards
Another lifetime in progression

I wanna spend the rest of my days
Watching the sunrise and sunsets with you
Talk about our adventures..
Us together I see us so vividly
Growing old 2gether...

let's do that

slaughter from my bones
this flesh
we shall
peel

my fingers
my hand
in
an
vice

my teeth clenched
on her butler
blood
drips

from
the
fowl

night has cast stones
see me not in daylight
from what manner
of
love
have you no remebrance

know he not of their fake
nets cast to catch the swine
from what pigs pool
do
you
climb

that my love should be as suffered
suffer into none

heart
oh heart

flown from beyond
the womb
of
an
sparrows egg

nostrils of flame
smoked
by
intentions

turn to read the job
what have you turned
after this trance
will come
another
what
breath

just listen
to
your
heart
breathe
or say
ok
you wanna play
?
