A broken mirror
Shattered into pieces
Smashed on the floor
Try fixing it
You'll just sore

Glued it many times
But the cracks were still visible

A broken heart
Shattered into pieces
Pick it up on the floor
Try healing the wounds
You'll just sore

Fixed it many times
But never will it mend

Better to leave it broken
Than try to hold it up again
You'll just end up hurting
songs, they never die
feelings, they never lie
somehow, i'm dumbfounded
how these two were invariably connected

feelings, can sometimes die
but songs, they never lie
because it is what you feel that you write
and again, feelings can never lie

you found yourself related to the song
and asked yourself why
it's just you who can try
thinking the reason for so long

things, sometimes you can deny
but you know you're hurting inside
it's your true sentiment that cannot hide
so better let it out and cry

Peter Pan said, "Don't grow up. It's a trap."

I say, "Don't fall in love. It's a crap."

"So you accept me?"
She asked in all honesty.

"Rejection was never an option."
He replied, smiling down at his girl.

I am one of the biggest hypocrites I know
I'm one of those, "Do as I say, not as I do" kind of person
I will feed people my advice
And do the exact opposite
“Love yourself”
“Be your first priority”
“Never settle”
All of these things I say should be done
Yet I can’t do it myself
Here I am, trying to fix people
When I am broken as well
I try to show people the beauty of the world, when a majority of the time
I see it as a dark place.
I focus on trying to make people happy, hoping it will bring me peace
Here I am, trying to help others when I can’t help myself
Trying to pick others up when my world crumbling
Right in front of my eyes

My life is a book
But I don't know how to class it.
Horror?
Thriller?
Romance?
Each chapter brings something new,
Not necessarily good
But something new.
I couldn't have guessed
The twists and plots
And how things would end up
For the main characters.
All I know is I can't put the book down,
Even when the reading is painful

Sitting on the balcony,
Lost for centuries,
Staring at the unreality,
Of her insanity.

Gazing at the light,
Flashing back to the night.

Beyond the unknown,
Is what she behold,
Thoughts uncontrolled,
Curling up in the cold.

"Let's go, B!"
He called out to me,
I ran down with glee,
To our beloved cherry tree.
I really love the last paragraph of this poem. It's just so adorable in a way

He made a game
That no one could play
Playing with fire
With his deadly smiles
Heavenly voice
Hide the devil inside
He's a victor
But not a hero
Soon he will fall
Torn into pieces
With his silly jokes
Fascinated by beauty
He made a collection
Manipulating emotions
Like a piece of cake
No questioning
He's definitely the
Mastermind

She sat alone,
With no one to hold,
Everyone ignores,
Because she’s wasn't well known.

Crying night by night,
With her pillow hugging tight,
Nothing seems alright.

Putting up a fight,
Even when not in sight,
Every day is a fright,
Without the light.

Demons everywhere,
Battling in silence despair.

Screaming and yelling will get her nowhere,
She just wants to be elsewhere,
The pain is everywhere.

She won’t let them in,
The demons within.

As it’s all just in her mind,
She recites to the wind.

She won the battle,
Bidding the demons farewell.

But they would always be prepared,
Lingering and waiting to be declared.
