What's love?
A faded photograph in an empty room,
Something that drove
Me to a darkened tomb.

Only warmth I  felt was in the womb,
What's left behind is broken and twisted,
Mother you left me too soon,
Now I'm left with the lukewarm,
Who-is-not I'm conflicted.

I sacrifice it all,
Just to be told that I won't amount to nothing,
From the same people that said they would love me,
No wonder, their voices feel numbing.

But the voices in my head,
The ones who keep company,
Tell me to walk down the avenues,
I reach the 19th, run into traffic, till finally...
I'm D...
The weather is not independent,
But a part of a bigger,
tricate system
Of patterns;
Variables,
Of cause and effect;

The tide goes
In and out all the same.

We need the rain
For the sunshine to come out again.
Miraculous β€”

And we need each other
For healing to be reclaimed.
Gabriel 1d
What was once lost
cannot be explained in long poems.
No amount of stanzas
can hold the silence it left behind.

It can only be heard
in the breeze that presses gently against you
on an evening walkβ€”
that soft resistance,
echoing a voice
that used to be
your favorite sound.

Or
you’ll see it
in places you once held sacred.
A room.
A bench.
The shadow of laughter against a wall.

It will reach for your hand
like nothing ever went wrong.
And her armsβ€”
they’ll still wrap around you
in memory
as if they planned to stay forever.
Neoliberalism
Is increasingly
Autism
And duopolies
On policies
And polities
A schism
Forming wider
In between us
The machine
To supersede us
As disparities in wealth
And income
Patently
Egregious
Seem as reasons
To believe
That it is working
To achieve
A democratic
Systematic
Toxic atmosphere
We breathe
the subtle sun of silent dawn
crawling into every crevice
in the crumbling stonework
and the fissured stained glass
of the  decrepit crypt

its murky interior gelid
housing forsaken old relics
of forgotten young orphans
enveloped by blankets of dust
and white withered flowers

entropic amalgamations
of decaying ****** souls
in this squalid sepulcher
of gloom and of light
so profoundly serene
