Telephone ringing
It only adds to the rhythm of
Our bodies pumping riding rushing
To answer-
Hello?
Here he comes
Odonko-ba Aug 2016
she wore her scorn

as tempting as

her little black dress

venus fly trap
Never **** over a good woman.

if i could lasso a rainbow and
corral the stars
all~ i would place at your feet
if only
you would
just

He sits on the edge of the world
unconcerned with the
dissimulation of
polite society
busy little bee's
bouncing off reality
living the dream he
so valiantly fought to protect
he sits there quietly
saturated in *****
manufactured of
white port fueled
by memory of war
contemplating
nothing
invisible to most
but still
a blight upon their sensibilities and
a horrid fright to the eyes when seen
cold hungry and shivering
they could give a **** to his welfare
they cogitate his insanity
his own undoings
and that smell
the smell of death
lurking  waiting to pounce
on yet another of society's outcast
putrid sores covers flesh uncovered
where gnats and flies feast
and maggots dine beneath the skin and
his breath
his breath  smells of Dragon Blood
do we even know what Dragon Blood is?
apparently he does
two tours in Vietnam an a Purple Heart for bravery
yet he sits on the edge of the world
bravely trampled underfoot of apathy
absent of coalition
he wishes only to be left alone
to dance in the pain
of degredation
and waltz in the face of death
until God calls him to reckoning
he will sit there on the edge of the world
listening to
the mundane idiocrasy of those who wander by
left to his own maundering
invisible that is
until the olympics come to town
For those whom has been cast out - and forgotten.

Grass
Jutting
Head
Butting
The dead
Lie in bastions
Abutting
Fortifications
Of the living
Whilst angels
Sing of blasphemy
And the heavens cry bile

Unseen
In human DNA
Confound
Look back
Behind
Up towards
An odyssey
The collapse of a star
Infinite and
Beyond reach
Obsolete
The existence
It once existed
Thought extinct
Human iris
Cloned galaxies
Clues to origins
Erstwhile taboo
Yet
Twelve thousand dollars
Shat
Upon a woman's chest
In jest
Unjust
While the
Innocent hunger
Pangs of the just
The meek emanates truth
And weeps degradation
Upon the masses
Bathing in its delight
Soothing of its ecstasy
Governments
Capitulate peace
Their pockets weighted of gold
Precipitates hate
Hate of me
Hate
Of you
Entangles the psych
Towards
The precipice of war

Buried in forgotten pits
Women wails
Screams of banshees
At the sight of death
Revenge

My dog barks incessantly
through the night
At ghouls and ghost
Only a dog's eye can sight

For I swear when I look
There's nothing to be seen

He barks at the wind
The trees and
All in between

He barks at me
When I come to see
What has him acting
So strangely

He barks at shadows
Cast by the moon
A shadow of his tail
Has him all swooned

He barks at cars  noise and
Strangers in the night
He barks at every little thing
That cause him fright

He barks at the neighbors cat
At the neighbors fence
He sits and dispense
Of barking until spent

Breaths lap water then barks again

He barks a melody
That's well received it seems

For out of the night - the howling begins
Dogs and cats alike
They bark at the moon - they bark at each other
They bark at whatever gives
them pleasure
I love my dog

Love is a powerful force
Emanating throughout the universe
Resounding in every star

Defying gravity as it sails
Unbound
On an intergalactic path
To find its match

Love is omnipotent
In its strength

The breadth of God
Exhaled upon man
In infinite compassion

Love is believing

That we never die
Love is forever
