We are nudging out nature, in our selfish interest
Almost trying to outdo nature and create our space
A space devoid of any beauty, mechanical churning
Deafening noise, drowning us in the decibels
Haze from the industries, making our vision blurry
Oblivious to the perils, of where we are heading
Are we leaving or building a safe abode for our progeny?
We can live in denial and continue to march ahead
Trampling many natural dreams in the name of civilization
Or measure success in different parameters
As success can’t be at the cost of defeating the purpose of life

Pulling the tide away
From feet soothed
By water.

I follow. Further down
The river bank.
Until I see her mirrored
By water.

Two moons, each to
Each other mere reflection.
True of all constellations.

I ballance on wet rock,
Called closer unto
The silent circular siren.

I am tenacious moth.
Leaving all other love behind;
It's her and I now.

I'll be gazing up at her too.
From next to her rippled
Twin. Nested; buried
By water.

You melt the sorrows away
You ignite and rekindled the flame
You burned the bridges to make us stay
where we are is safer from the storm that came

We share the light whenever darkness falls
We grew stronger, time to time we fan the blaze
To never fall apart and be separated as our heart calls
For another night with fire in our eyes with each other's gaze

There's one thing in life with all certainty I know
That right from the start I felt you are the one
If I am wrong and our love turns cold like snow
I really doubt that though for our love shines like the summer's sun
