I miss you
But I can't miss you
If I miss you
You win
Or I lose
Or something
And I keep losing
I keep breaking
I'm tired
So very tired
I wish I could sleep
But insomniacs don't sleep
When they throw away their
Lullabies
Seals have it easy.

You were my lullaby.

Mark Ball
When the penny has
dropped on the situation,
and the silence binds
your obligation,
I am sorry.
From you to me it's only
about 2,455 miles.

We could both start now
and meet somewhere
in between

Or I could drop everything
and book a flight
Only for my airplane to
crash tonight.

But if I survive I'll still walk,
I'll meet you up in Seattle
before my death rattle.

Press yourself against me and
embrace my broken body.

**** me with your eyes,
stop my breath with your lips.

Always save the best for last*

He Says:

I hoard,
just in case,
when I get my daily dose of
rainy day needs,
then, for a fresh start,
a cheer me up,
keep new shoes and such
in a closet, gathering dust,
and look them up...

She Says:

no way,
use the best first,
always,
that why I am
always
in my finest,
and why I
put up with you*
and still kiss your
wrongheaded head,
and keep on kickin' your
***-
backwards thinking...
Time
Subtly counting the seconds
Hopelessly loosing oneself
In utter endless distractions
Only to realize
The count was lost
And the time has passed
Left breathless
Again one begins
Subtly counting the seconds
Focused on the task at hand
To only become lost again
And realize
The moment has passed
And it is time
To call the watch repairman
