It’s almost over now.
You've got a choice to make.
Go vote, and let your voice be heard,
for there is much at stake.

Stand up and spread the word.
Your country counts on you.
Get to your ballot box and vote.
Go and express your view.

Don’t sit at home and sulk.
Your future is at stake.
Get out and make your presence count.
Go vote, for goodness sake!

I'm laying in my bed
Surrounded by darkness
Listening to the footsteps above me
It's easy to tell who's walking.

I turn over and sigh,
Still in a mood from last night
I just want to go back to sleep
So another day can pass me by,

But I have to get up and fight.
I searched
the deepest depths
of the vastest oceans,
I searched way up high,
past the clouds,
in the bluest of blue skies,

I searched
deep in the hearts
of nature's greenest forests...
It turns out,
that I was carrying it within me
all along - only now, do I realise.

Such a lovely surprise to receive the daily

Two dailys in total in my time here...I'm blown away! Thank you all soooooo much!
Such an honor and a privilege

I'm so glad to be back home, here at HP!
I missed this site and everyone soooo much!

Someday,
Someone will want to be in just this bed
Laying next to me

And maybe by then,
It'll be worth it for them to stay
Because I'll have myself
Finally figured out.

Chill as the cold long winters sending rodents
into hibernation scraping knees and keeping
secrets minding your own **** business in a
city full of snakes where everyone knows your
name and all of your whereabouts with the most
currents doubts and rumors they hear from people,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,
i swear, I'm playing it safely,
A lot of people ,they hate me,
happened before but it will not phase me,

but I'm just keeping it wavy,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,

its too late to save who I was , not in this distant future,
memories will remain so vivid like scarring kama sutra,
vulnerable like taking my life to get me out of this hell,
cutting down barriers in life won't stop me getting to you,
look at me i'm ,done with this,
was a troubled kid with fiery mist,
hard enough to become a pacifist,
life tried to hit me with the dodge ball , but it missed,
deep memories with fake people and the fake smiles,
won't tolerate the **** when i create my first child,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,

but I'm just keeping it wavy,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,
i swear, I'm playing it safely,
A lot of people ,they hate me,
happened before but it will not phase me,
but I'm just keeping it wavy,
but I'm just keeping it wavy.

I'm waiting for the "block" to break.
My pen is filled with ink.
Nothing seems to come to mind.
I can barely think.

My rhymes have just meandered
Out the kitchen door.
Inspiration took a day off.
My life's become a bore.

The headlines don't excite me.
The president didn't call.
The queen did not invite me.
There was no mail at all.

The pope just went fishing.
Congress is on a break.
My lottery tickets have disappeared
And I can't stay awake.

I guess I'll stay in bed all day
And enjoy a lengthy nap
And maybe have a dream or two
To get me back on track.

I don't have a poem today
Or wait... I think I do...
I'll call it "I don't have a poem today."
And foist it all on you!
