Gravity pulls water onto the floor
to trace my skin like a lover.

The steamed mirror can be anyone
if you’re not a biased audience
and I paste faces on bodies for spare minutes.

My hands are loaded guns
you have to get comfortable with
on parade day.

This is not a love story
it is a witch hunt
and Gravity has been the only thing that has ever caught me.

She wore forget-me-nots
in her hair, but every morning
they only called her darling.
"Maybe I can't stop the downpour, but I will always, always join you for a walk in the rain." He said leading the way.
Recent contemplations since it's been raining a lot and I've been drowning in stress from school. I can do this though.

You remind me of the living,
breathing.....
    (  (  (s t r u g g l e)  )   )
within my mind constantly.

I can relate to your questions
and fears, outcasts' s ' sss tearss' s''s'' ' '

But there is a light,
oh man,
there is a light
so bright that will release so much energy
into this universe one day we may find ourselves
in a similar utopia. I promise you
it's there, inside you.

The answers are out there,
you're very close.
Much closer than I was at your age.

Simply believe in yourself......
Yours Truly,

I fell in love with you
the same way I fell out:
slowly and then all at once

7 months,
    $400
         And a 1,178km medicinal trip
         To a freedom unbeknown
         And untasted by these eyes
I am so ready, but is my life?

8 weeks,
10 tests, doused in falsities that kidnap the education system,
3 months and I am done,
Finished and fully educated to their standard.
So close and yet so far,
             I haven't learnt a thing.
I've almost finished my last year of high school... I've almost conquered my hatred and fear of the system... This is all I've got to hold on to, all that's keeping me going.

Going back is a privilege
Only a memory has.
Though what is to come
Holds so much more promise
Than the shadows of the past.
The blinding lights of the future
Certainly hold uncertainty.
I trust in my decisions
I indecisively make.
I tiptoe through mines
Of bankruptcy and heartache
With no promise of an easy life,
A happy ending,
Or a forever after.
But fear not, I shall -
I tire of recurring dreams anyhow.
I've been neglectful. But hopefully I will be submitting more material. Miss you all!

We are a deeply entwined vine
Growing ever more far apart,
But still attached at the roots.
He has rooted himself in myself,
And has become a part of me.
I dissected worms in high school,
But I don't feel qualified
To dissect our conjointment.
He has asked me to hand him the scalpel,
And I have become too accustomed
To his requests to decline.
We stare at each other,
Both of us too timid to cut the ties,
And go to bed side by side
With scalpels in hand.
