I'd walk in your shoes...
but you wont even tie em
just sitting there cryin'
not even tryin'
I'm not underminin'
nor am I denyin'
your shoes
are worn to the soul
I can see you
threw every hole
and I thought
you might like to know...
it matters not
that your shoe has a rip
its the laces that tend
to make us trip
so before you ask me
to walk in your shoes
wont you tie em up tight
its the least you could do
the
babbling brook
with
winter snow
she
did not know
which
way
that
spring would flow
Your kindness
a sunflower
whose many seeds
sustain the sparrow's
song of joy
and rest assured
do gorgeously
germinate in
thin-hulled souls
the soil is ripe
love yearns
to be reborn.
For certain people, loving kindness is as easy as breathing. Thank you for being such a one, paul SN.
You used to make me nervous
And I liked that.

Now you make me nervous
And I want to die.
Severity of the situation
was at height
and I have no reason
not to plead.
Some thing's can get a little hairy
A little scary
A little daring
blood-curdling are the little vermin
Who love to digest down my harvest.
How they got a surprise coming,
With the good winchester model 37.
Take the little vermin to creepy crawly heaven.
Since when
Do I reach an age
Can I write to strangers
Across the miles
While living in near luxury
While limbs are torn
Heads are severed
Women are *****
Children  removed from their parents
Forced to drink filthy water
Scrounging in the dirt
With muddied tears
Since when have these deeds gone on?
Before letters, scripts, shrouds, and candles
Since the light appeared
That, is since when.
