Single Bitterness
Leera Jul 2016
The envy I get seeing lovers,
Holding hands.
Caressing and beautifully staring
at their forever.

The wishful thinking that I feel seeing couples,
Happily walking.
Alongside each other
With the perfection they have for
one another.

The bitterness I feel seeing pairs,
Together, laughing
while I am alone
wishing of my own relationship
that others
would imagine as theirs.

Uncontrollably Fond
Leera Jul 2016
We are lost in this feeling,
the beat that keeps us going.

We are found in the longing,
the tears that gives us strength.

We are detained in the love,
the whispers that binds us together.

We are jailed in this affection,
the signal that provides us hope.

Jack Frost played with Snow
Leera Jul 2016
As I put a glimpse on you,
I can see that you were looking at her.
Not just a simple look,
but a look full of admiration and happiness.
It was a painful thing to watch,
but there's nothing more I can do about it.
I was startled and tongue tied that is
why I didn't open any conversation
between the two of us.
I kept my self busy
just to forget the jealousy that i felt.
I know i have no right to be jealous,
but i can't help it.
There's no us, no you & me.
It just me, then you and her.
How painful could that be?
It maybe painful on my part,
I still don't mind as long as you're happy
that's all I think about.
You were so inspired,
and smiling and
it feels like heaven to see you like that.
*And you, Jack Frost played with snow earlier.

Storybook
Leera Jul 2016
I am covered with colors and pretentious protections.
It is the first page that people see me as me.
These colors are disguised to entice people to see the next page,
And would have them stay until the end of it.

Seeing that I am in a wonderful shape,
someone would try and attempt to see what's next.
After seeing and reading it, there are two things
that they would certainly do: They leave without finishing it,
Or would stay because they want to know how it ends.

I build a life believe that happy endings do come true.
Revolve in a magical world full of royalties.
A dimension in which a ball, a pauper and a prince
gets their happy ever after.

Growing up with lies of happily ever after,
Had me left hanging.
Dressing up as a princess, imagining a prince dancing me
In the middle of the ball got me
wishing of my own happy ending.

But then my fairytale had its own ending,
It was not happy, it didn't end up with
a on a man I call my prince
Instead I had to close that childhood storybook,
That had me believing on what's meant to be.
And live on the cruel world I call reality.

I grew up, had my own story to write
Had bumps of cliches, a millions of happy but not ever after.
A jar full of secret, and a crazy plot
that people would laugh at
But I am still on the chapter that has a title:
**"I DON'T WANT TO GROW UP BUT I CAN'T DO ANYTHING BUT GROW UP."

Almost
Leera Jul 2016
Our memories are collection of
dismantled almost,
Ours was the closest to never.
We have the almost that is
unattainable,
We are the never that the stars
forbids.

We, the greatest example of losing.
I, the one, who hoped of something.
You, the one, who gave me nothing.
Us, the almost, but as well as the never.

Empty Space
Leera Jul 2016
in the middle of the wee hours of the dawn,
he suddenly felt the absence.
from her longing touched he missed
where was the heat that he was familiar to.

He was left empty,
He was unclothed.
He left her with nothing.
He was lifeless.

Ruined
Leera Jul 2016
I
tried to
extend
a refuge
to salvage
what has
been
damage.

You
turned
your back
and
left
the solution
hanging.

We
fail at
the desperate
urge
of helping
for both
were
holding onto
our pride
that was only left
to us.

it was you
who chose it.

it was you
who planted it.

it was you
who watered it.

it was you
who took care of it.

it was you
who destroyed it.

it was you
who chose to **** it.

there’s no one to blame,

it was you
who made it this way.
