I'm sorry that I can't keep my hands off of you
But it's like you have your own gravitational field that only affects me and even when I'm right next to you I want to be holding your hand or playing with your hair or rubbing your back. And maybe it's me. Maybe I'm afraid that if I don't hold on to you with all I have that you'll fall out of my bubble and my gravitational field won't affect you anymore and maybe our paths will never cross so closely again and maybe what could have been something absolutely amazing, like the fact that God placed the earth the perfect distance from the sun, will end up as insignificant as the distance between pluto and an asteroid out in the abyss

Deep in the wilderness

where birds are mute
and no wind blew

where animals remain calm
and fish don't swim

where trees are quiet
and branches stand still

A golden leaf fell
and indeed
everything came to life

I live in my own world
Inside of this cruel world
Awaiting the next world

but darling, tis not this weight you should be concerned with
bearing weight means strength
strength translates into courage

courage
each cell within your painted body
recreating pictures within moments
so you can adapt to the world's mysterious colors

colors
the gradient of your eyes
a scale model of the cosmos surrounding us
you and I

I
a collision of rocks in space
given the grand most title of a comet

comet
I may be this "brilliant comet"
but a comet cannot exist alone in this void of infinity
maybe I am this comet
but it is undoubtable that I need gravity

gravity
but darling, tis not the weight you should be concerned with
it is the strength of your gravity that yearns for your focus

so maybe I am your brilliant comet
but you are pulling me
my miraculous gravity
