I met the man by chance on that riverside town.

The only one around at the deserted strand
I asked him the shortest way out
after I had my fill of the river.

He told me about the fish market
where the fresh catches arrive every morn
and the place ten minutes farther north
where if I slowed down
could catch the magnificent spectacle
of the orange orb thirstily dipping in the river
and if I stayed back for the night
would surely go insane
when the moon sets the river on silver fire
but if I was really intent on leaving
a half hour's drive would get me the highway.

I was thinking of the amazing mathematical probability
of my traveling over three hours to see the river
and his traveling ten minutes on a bicycle
to fetch his son from school on that riverside town
for our once-a-lifetime meeting on the life's highway
and then having him a permanent visitor in my memory
at sunsets and moonrises over the river.
I love peach schnapps on a cool front
porch , with a touch of November wind , wrapped
up in my old brown scarf
I go for Jaegermeister when I'm a bit peaked ,
a few Texas shots are just what the patient needed
I lean to whiskey when it's bitter cold and 'brisky' ,
a spiffy sock cap with a hot toddy or two work
right nifty* ...

She was a Black Rose.
A beautiful rarity,
and the essence of despair,
all at once.
His eyes
The way they were shaded like a sea of waves cascading down on all of your worries and they could seep into your heart and make everything okay again.

His hands
The way they were calloused and how I wished I grabbed them and never let go on that quiet peaceful night.

His voice
The way how his voice was quiet and beautiful but could fill an empty room with cries of joy

His laugh
The way he laughed and how it pulled my heart strings hundreds of ways every time

His smile
The way his nose would crinkle up and thin lips would spread across his face. How just one smile could of solved all my problems.

Him**
The way he made me fall in love with him every single ******* time. How I would give up everything just to be with him again.

***once, an angry bird...***
Red
What does the color remind you of
The color red?
It reminds me of something
I miss
Something I can't have
and something I can't be
it's hard because the color is so pretty
Why must it remind me of you?
Why does everything
remind me of you
I still dream of you sometimes
Press snooze
Just ten more minutes
With the idea of you
With the idea I'm not alone
That someone would look at me
With amazement in their eyes
Just ten minutes
Okay?
Mother watching me with piercing  cold eyes, your dreams for me were nothing but lies.

Mother suffocating me with your so called love and expectations, my lungs are dying like cancer patients.

Mother who is ever so wise, I've lived my life for you in disguise.
Turning into what I hated, till my lies became too complicated.

Mother am flowed I will be the first to admit, but you are the real hypocrite.
What do you see when you look at me? am not the once fraile girl you knew me to be.

Mother who wastes my youth without care, there only so much a person can bare.
I hear you laughter in my head, it is a sound that I've come to dread.

Mother you gave me the precious gift of life, but all your words cut like a knife.
Why do you hate me? do I remind you of everything you wanted to be.

Mother who feeds on my anger and
Frustration, Like a hunger stricken nation.
Nothing I will ever do will be good enough for you, I feel it in my heart It must be true.

Mother I know you only do what you think is best, that's why you made my life a test

Mother it seems our worlds are destined to crash, leaving behind nothing but ash.
