Genderless with scraped knees and
A lipstick crush on one who bore the same name as me
Uncut brown hair untouched by bleach and
Stealing kisses from my best friend while my parents lied asleep
Lying in the grass with a picture book on faeries
Listening to the wind whistle through our dying trees
Jumping on the bed with my ***** and my bubby
Giggling hand over mouth when my mother called him "hubby"
Daisy chains and he loves me nots
Unbrushed teeth beginning to rot
***** shoes and ***** shoelaces
Visiting imagined places
Pink striped socks and a skirt to mismatch
Waiting for robins eggs to fall or to hatch

O, to be a child and to live within a dream
To lie awake at ten past eight, imagination like a stream
I need to be left alone for a while
That's what we all say
If I could dream even for a moment
That storm won’t break my mast
And the wind won’t blow for long

I need someone who has a life
And doesn’t hate anybody
She’ll read the news like everybody
But she won’t have the heart to judge
‘Cause she knows that’d be wrong

That’s her at the end of the bar
She might be drinking whiskey
She might be drinking wine
I’m gonna’ think about her heart
Just like I want her to think about mine

It’s a crying shame
Somebody trying to care
I can’t figure out why I’m always here
And she’s over there

I need someone like me
I’m not going to think about the past
It’s how I’m gonna’ make love last
I’m not going to compare you to nobody
I’m gonna’ pretend I’m really that strong

That’s her at the end of the bar
She was drinking whiskey
Now she’s drinking wine
I’m gonna’ think about her life
I hope she's thinking about mine
Country song lyrics
I sit at work thinking
When my heart is sinking

Questioning myself over and over
When will I reach for the clover

As to the path I chose
Was it left or right

I choose to go left
I fell off the cliff

Wish I had turned right
Because  it was so bright

They say run away from the light
Everything was so dark like it was night

Something kept biting me
I was running for safety

I would Never to be the same
Never to be ashamed

Crossed the river with broken heart
Buckled it with the threads of time.
Thoughts when flew into my breath
Tears went rolling down my pen,
Relieving my heart from extreme twinges.
Feet got impaired as I progressed
While the heartbeats in past dead wood
Wanted to ponder and yonder.
Shabby memories opened its eyes in slumber
While seasons fell off one after another!

Sadness is the wine of the soul
You, when looking down on me didn't know
How I've made mine perfect
Through many years
Effortlessly.

Pain that has every title,
Seeps like the rain to my roots
And gives me fear of nothing
But fear of feeling anything at all.

And I wait in the dark of life
Still like in sleep
Until the hour
All clocks stop.

When with you,
All clocks stop.
When with you,
Sadness grows
In saying goodbye.

Four simple words I'll give:
Goodbye,
I love you.
Still like in sleep
Until the hour
All clocks stop.

Traveler
I will always feel your presence
Through these quantum
Ethereal waves
These strings they bind
Through our time lines
Beyond the conscious states

Countless questions
Reasoning why
Staggeringly suspect
Those subtle lies

It seems quite complicated
Yet it's as simplistic as can be
Along came a wind of change
And blew two spirits free
...

See ya there!
Knotted strands of blue
stuck in my slightly red beard,
means her heart is here.
